Monfort Bat Sanctuary has been the house of a large colony of 2.3 million Rousette fruit bats since recorded history. They cover 75% of the ceilings and walls of their 245 ft (75 m)-long cave. The sanctuary is located on Samal Island, about 1 kilometre (0.62 mi) east of Davao City, Philippines.

So, maám it is our first time here in the bat cave.
What people expect in going to the cave?
Okay, so first thing of course our area is one of the
most accessible cave in the whole Philippines
because we don't need to go inside the cave
because if we enter the cave we could say that
it's risky for us because of the strong
smell of the bat's poop.

So, .bat's can be disturbed by us,
we can just peek outside the cave
and we see millions of bats here
in our area in Monfort Bat Cave.

BAT KINGDOM CAVE, SAMAL ISLAND:
Bat Kingdom Cave or Monfort Bat Sanctuary is the world's largest bat sanctuary. It houses a large colony of Rousettus amplexicaudatus or fruit bats reaching to about 1.8 million fruit bats. The Bat Kingdom cave is located in Kamudmud at the Garden City of Samal.
The cave is open for public viewing where you will see the colony of fruits bats. As first look and when you are a little distant, you may think that it is just a plain mouth cave, but when you look closer, you can no longer see the walls of the cave because it is filled with the bats. The walls are all covered by the fruit bats like as if they were countless like the stars at night.
The site is very fascinating and breathtaking even if you are just at the mouth of the cave. However, tourists are not allowed to go inside of course because of the cave dwelling bats.
