Mongolia solo horse trekking
Shot on the 4k Action Cam from Sony. Check it out at
Overcoming a fear of horses I travelled to Mongolia to purchase some horses and teach myself how to ride solo through the mountains. With little communication other than hand gestures and a sketch book made my travels very interesting. With the kindness of the Kazakh and Mongolian I got taught falconry from the eagle hunters and horse mastery.

Horse Trek in Mongolia | 4 day tour
#9 Kelit vaihtelevat paljon, joten lämmin kerrospukeutuminen on suositeltavaa.
#12 Vaelluksen varrella nukutaan paimentolaisperheiden jurtissa.

A Father’s Dream - Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia
Lhavgavaj used to worry all the time about his children’s safety. But when Holt donors gave his family a gift of a ger — a traditional Mongolian home — his worries eased. He had a permanent home, and could put all his effort into helping his six children succeed.
Give a Gift of Hope to a father like Lhavgavaj:

JOURNEY into MONGOLIA
I went on a solo adventure into western Mongolia with Indy Guide ( to explore what this amazing part of the country had to offer and visit the eagle hunters of the region, I was not disappointed. The views were on another level, especially in the Altai mountains but the Kazahk people were just extremely welcoming and open which made the experience one to remember. Staying with a different family each night, experiencing their daily routines and eating and drinking with them. We continued to make our way around the west, attending the Nauryz eagle festival and exploring some of the snowy mountains in the Altai by horseback. Filming my adventure through Mongolia was extremely tough, we were on the move constantly and electricity is hard to come by so I relied on power banks a lot to charge my camera, being from Africa i'm not used to temperatures as low as -20 degrees celsius during this time of the year and of course the language barrier but I thoroughly enjoyed the every moment and it was one of the most raw feelings of travel I have experienced.
Thanks to Ati Tosun from Indy-Guide for making this trip such a success in terms of an adventure, I hope this video gives a small insight into what is to be expected when visiting this part of the world.

Mongolia Travel | Trekking the Valley of Vultures (Bonus Ending) - Episode 17
We take our campervan into Gobi Gurvansaikhan National Park to visit Yolin-am (Yolyn am), a deep and narrow gorge in the Gurvan Saikhan Mountains of southern Mongolia. The valley is named after the Lammergeier (an old world vulture), which is called Yol in Mongolian.
This area is part of the Gobi Desert, sees little precipitation. However, Yolyn Am is famous for it's ice field that reaches several kilometers long.
At the end we try something new. An unedited video clip of our evening. We thought some of you might enjoy it. Let us know in the comments.

Mongolia - Travel Mongolia - Episode 1
I had the opportunity to spend three weeks traveling across central Mongolia and the Gobi desert. One of the best trips I have ever taken and pretty tough at times, with no showers and traveling in an old Soviet van across bumpy terrain for hours, but it was worth every minute because I got to see some of the most beautiful untouched nature out there.
In memory of my dear friend Jeff Greenwell. Thanks for all the good memories, traveling and seeing so many places together. You are missed by many.

Mongolian Food Tour: Trying LAMB HEAD In Ulan Bator (Trans Siberian Railway Adventure)
Time for some Mongolian bizarre foods... What's the weirdest we've eaten in our 7 months of travel? Eating twice cooked lamb head (yes, with everything still inside, including the eyes) and drinking fermented horse milk really tops that list... But it's a part of nomadic culture and so we had to try some real nomad food!
If you want to travel Mongolia or do a Mongolia tour, make sure to subscribe for more videos coming your way very, very soon. Exploring the capital of Ulan Bator, Mongolia hiking to remote areas where we'll be staying with nomads, horse trekking – you name it, we’ll be going there! NEXT UP: sightseeing in Ulaanbaatar's monasteries and palaces!
And not to worry, we’ll also be making our way back onto the Trans Siberian Railway (Trans Mongolian route) after we’re finished in Mongolia ;-) if you want to check out our videos of the Transsiberian, we've grouped them right here:

Horse Trekking through Khoridol Saridag and Khovsgol Lake, Mongolia
Two amazing weeks in Northern Mongolia through the mountains of Khoridol Saridag to Khovsgol Nuur. We had arrived there after travelling overland from Singapore to Mongolian border, we hitched across and made our way to Ulaanbaatar and then via Moron into the mountains. Yuin and Dawn joined the adventure and showed us how to play hacky sack. Urnaa from Wind Horse Travels organized a great tour for us and made sure, we came back happy and impressed to Ulaanbaatar.

__________
Sprawled across the mountain system where Russia, Kazakhstan, China and Mongolia come together is a vast and pristine wild land, the Altai-Sayan Ecoregion, a distinct territory defined by natural processes rather than political ones. Its borders are ecological, and its provinces are interconnected habitats.
Tusker is one of a handful of companies that trek the entire length of the Altai Tavn Bogd National Park, which occupies the Mongolian part of the Altai-Sayan Ecoregion.
During our trek, which you can do on foot or on horseback, we traverse many of the rivers, and camp every night on either the banks of these rivers or the shores of the lakes fed by them.
The Khovd River, which has its genesis in the glaciers of Mongolia's Altai Tavn Bogd Mountains, flows into the Great Lakes Basin, a depression with no outlet whose lush wetlands comprise the last great reed beds of central Asia.
On this unique trek, you experience the wilderness of Mongolia, and wilderness at it's finest, in all of its raw, pristine beauty.

While trekking through Mongolia's tough terrain, it's imperative that we use the absolute best tents available. For sleeping we use Eureka's 4-season K2XT all-weather tent. We have tested these tents under the harshest conditions, and they stand up to all the punishment we can muster.
Our dining tents also are built to the same tough standards, and sit 16 of us in comfortable chairs around large camp tables. That is if we're not dining al fresco, in the open air.
