Quelque part en Afrique du sud, une éléphante s'est pris la trompe dans des câbles d'acier. A force de tirer pour se libérer, elle se l'est à moitié sectionnée.Une blessure qui, à terme, pourrait lui coûter la vie. Non loin de là, une femelle rhinocéros a reçu dans la cuisse plusieurs balles tirées par des braconniers. Il en résulte une douleur extrême. Parviendra-t-elle à survivre ? Au Costa Rica, un singe hurleur est atteint d'une cataracte qui pourrait le rendre aveugle et le contraindre à la captivité pour le reste de sa vie. Un ocelot souffre d'un mal étrange... Un homme peut aider cette éléphante, ce rhinocéros ou rendre la vue et la liberté à ce jeune singe hurleur. Il se nomme Norin Chai. Vétérinaire hors pair, il mène depuis plus de vingt ans des actions de préservation de la faune sauvage aux quatre coins du monde. Norin Chai se portera au secours des animaux, dans des situations d'urgence. Quelque part en Amérique Centrale, une maladie infectieuse dévaste une population de paresseux... En Indonésie, un mal mystérieux affecte les orangs-outans... « L'Arche de Norin » ne veut pas seulement montrer un vétérinaire d'exception au chevet de la faune sauvage, mais émouvoir, faire rêver, et donner à admirer les beautés de la planète. Famed Chateau de Chantilly near Paris is really a few built over time. Offers numerous painting galleries (The Antiques Room, The Monkey Room etc...) which are easy to see. The REAL JOY is sauntering the grounds & stunning gardens & ponds (...freezing when I was there, am sure I saw white caps & a Typhoon!) DON'T MISS undulating ponds stocked w/too-friendly lazy-carp! Quiet walkways abound for that overdue reverie. And while the standard supercilious restaurant is present, the little Gaufre Wagon down the hill, at a tenth the cost, is scrumptious! Mango & Chocolatem hmmm... diet be damned!
