Discover Western Australia with Monty Halls - Shark Bay & Monkey Mia
British TV presenter and marine biologist Monty Halls sets out on one of the most spectacular driving routes in the world, Australia’s Coral Coast Highway, to fulfill a lifelong dream of visiting Ningaloo Reef.
Follow Monty on his three part series which starts in Perth, a place which outshines the rest of Australia with more hours of sunshine than any other major city, before driving north past lunar landscapes and bubblegum pink lakes to reach the World Heritage-listed Ningaloo Reef. It is here that Monty attempts one of the greatest marine encounters on earth, to swim with the gentle giant that is the whale shark.
Along the way he meets park rangers, aboriginal guides, pilots and underwater photographers who share the secrets behind the extraordinary nature on show and experiences wildlife encounters that delight, surprise and take his breath away

Dolphin Feeding at Monkey Mia || Shark Bay || Western Australia
Head for Monkey Mia Beach during feeding times and meet the dolphins that have put this beautiful seaside spot on the map.
The friendly pod of wild bottlenose dolphins regularly swim to Monkey Mia’s shore to interact with humans up to three times a day. This often occurs more frequently in the mornings, with feeding times occurring between 7.45am and 12 noon.

WA EP 2 Monkey Mia, Shell Beach, Ningaloo Reef
hey everyone,
this is the second episode of our travels around Western Australia.
In this video we travel to Monkey Mia beach where a resident pod of bottle-nosed dolphins live, then onto Shell Beach, a beach without sand.
We then travel further north into the beautiful Exmouth region to visit the Ningaloo Reef, a place I have been wanting to go to for a long time. We encountered some amazing animals and visited Turquoise Bay, one of the most beautiful beaches I've ever seen.
It's true what they say, WEST IS BEST!!
