Race Horse Crashes Into Pole
Monmouth Park Racetrack is an American race track for thoroughbred horse racing in Oceanport, New Jersey, United States. It is owned by the New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority and is operated under a five-year lease as a partnership with Darby Development, LLC.[1]
Monmouth Park's marquee event is the Haskell Invitational, named after Amory L. Haskell. The Haskell was first run in 1968 as a handicap, but was made into an Invitational Handicap in 1981. It is now a 1⅛-mile test for three-year-olds run in late July. Monmouth Park also now showcases the Jersey Derby originally run at Garden State Park until its closure in 2001.

New Jersey Video Production - Haskell 2019 at Monmouth Park
Here is one of a series of cable television commercials produced for Monmouth Park Racetrack. This commercial previews the Haskell Invitational, New Jersey's premiere thoroughbred race. Shamrock's role included location shooting, post-production and graphic design. Multiple versions are created for website and social media distribution.
ANTIQUE 1930's OTIS (mb. C.U.I.) Traction Elevator - Monmouth Park Racetrack - Oceanport, NJ (#20)
Unfortunately this elevator was modernized but it was an AMAZING mod, this was definitely an Otis Manually Controlled Elevator from the roaring twenties or 1930's but was modded in 1954 by Otis when the bank of two high speed elevators for the clubhouse were installed, then this elevator was modded again probably in the 2000's. There is another elevator in the clubhouse like this one but is 3000 LBS and this one is 2000 LBS. The clubhouse also has a bank of two high speed elevators installed in 1954 with a 6000 LBS capacity that were modded with EPCO CircleLine. There is also an ORIGINAL OTIS Freight Elevator here which I didn't ride because I wasn't sure if it was working and didn't risk getting thrown out of here, but if I rode the freight I would've asked for permission first. There are probably other elevators hidden in this racetrack that may be hidden gems like according to the map there's a service elevator in the clubhouse area of the grandstand building of the racetrack. These fixtures look like PTL but I'm not sure. But C.U.I. did an AMAZING job modding this and left the BEAUTIFUL ORIGINAL CAB!
Floridian Elevators, THIS IS FOR YOU!
Installed: 1930's as a manually controlled elevator.
Modernized: 1954 with Otis Black Button.
Modernized Again: 2000's with PTL? by C.U.I. elevator.

New Jersey Begins Taking Legal Sports Bets
(14 Jun 2018) New Jersey's governor kicked off a new era of gambling Thursday in the state that led the charge for the entire nation to bet on sports legally.
Gov. Phil Murphy placed $20 bets on Germany to win the World Cup soccer tournament, and the New Jersey Devils to win hockey's Stanley Cup next season.
Murphy plunked his money down at a counter inside Monmouth Park, a horse racing track in Oceanport, near the Jersey shore.
The wagers came a month after New Jersey won a U.S. Supreme Court case clearing the way for all 50 states to legalize sports betting if they choose.
From there, he was headed to the Borgata, the first Atlantic City casino to offer sports betting, where he said he planned to make another bet or two.
We knew in our heads we were right and we knew in our hearts we would win, Murphy said. We've got a lot of good times ahead.
Bettors were quick to line up at counters in the track's sports book facility.
John Thomas Conway of Matawan, NJ was one of them.
I think it's a miracle, I really do. I think this should have been done a zillion years ago because of the revenue to help everybody, across the United States, and not only New Jersey, said Conway.
Experts predict in-game betting, in which customers use smartphones to wager on developments over the course of a game, will quickly become a major component of sports betting in the U.S.
But online sports betting will not start for at least 30 days in New Jersey; until then, it is limited to casinos and horse tracks.
