Neighbors Witnesses Lightning Strike Ignite House Fire in Gaithersburg
Montgomery County firefighters responded to a house fire on Midsummer Drive in Gaithersburg on Sept. 7th. Fire and Rescue Spokesperson Pete Piringer said the fire was ignited by a lightning strike and a neighbor saw it happen. Fortunately, no one was injured. The severe storms caused damage in several areas of the county on Wednesday night.
Her FIRST Trout Ever!!! Trout Fishing the Patapsco River
Trout fishing with my sister, my sister's dog, and my mom. The mission: to get my sister on her first ever rainbow trout! Secondary objectives: keep my sister's dog safe throughout the trip and try to get my mom on her second ever trout. The conditions were tricky as the trout continued to be finicky as seen the day before, but we managed to almost fill out our limit of trout on pink trout worms and powerbait trout dough!

August 7th, 2008 Severe Storm in Germantown, MD with Runaway shopping carts.

This is very unsteady video of some thunderstorms I intercepted on the way to work in Germantown. This was not a chase (it would be pretty sad to call it a chase since I was on a bus). The storm wasn't too much, but did pack some great winds and did have non-meso related circulation.
I mostly uploaded the video to show some fellow hams how I was having a hard time making the 147.300 VHF FM repeater from Germantown. I don't know if it was reception, or just the fact that the men talking on the repeater either didn't leave enough space for me to break-in, or they ignored my transmissions.
OH...and the funnest part is the runaway shopping carts pushed by the winds....that turn the corner of the road all by themselves.....funny as hell.

I talk a lot; I might sing freestlye well you tell me One Take. I work with no scripts, but the knowledge of 25 years of culinary experience topping it off with instruction from a Baltimore International College and Lane Community College where I studied under French Chefs and gaining knowledge of every aspect of Culinary Arts classic and contemporary. The purpose of the videos is to make you a better cook, to provide easy ways to cook healthy and exciting dishes with a Gourmet touch, and to have fun at dinner.
I teach cumulatively so it is important to pick up terms I am using
over and over. I am basically taking everyone through first year Culinary, an over view of skills techniques that can be expanded on. I invite your comments and questions.
I do this free and pure, and want to get basic cooking skills back in America. I make the format fun and different we can all agree. We can say I'm not boring much, and have a vast knowledge of interesting facts, tricks, and ways to save money.
Mission: I believe what I do fills a deep need in American culture, a
food revolution, and back to good food, real food, whole some food made with the Farmers hands an American honored tradition.

This dessert will put you to bed and wake you up. Careful midnight munches. It is called a Sopapillas, meaning 'small pillow. I learned to make these while preparing Menu for what was the opening of the Rock N Rodeo in 2005. They are so easy to make and ligh and fluffy notice time on this video. FAST

Pond Fishing for BIG BASS -- Post Storm
Another amazing day at the mansion bass pond! We dealt with some tough conditions but were still able to get on fish using the jig. Mainly because we figured them out the day before and targeted windy banks. I think a chatter bait would have worked well too, because staying in contact with rocks was the key to success.
