Mont-Saint-Michel : How to distroy 1 car in 10 minutes and 2 in 30 minutes
Just visit Mon-Saint-Michel in France and ignore all the signs written in 5 languages.
The police and 200 people stood there and doing nothing. In this part near the coast the water is rising very fast. But in the future this will be solved. They are building a parking garage wich ( I hope) is a little bit higher then the currect parking solutions.....

Dazzling Supertide Transforms France's Mont Saint-Michel Into an Island, Delighting Thousands
A supertide has turned France’s famed Mont Saint-Michel into an island and then retreated out of sight, delighting thousands of visitors who came to see the rare phenomenon. The so-called “tide of the century” actually happens every 18 years. Although the tide rushes in and out along the whole northern French coast, it's especially dramatic at the UNESCO world heritage site, which is normally linked to the mainland only by a narrow causeway at high tide.
The high tide, said to rise at the pace of a horse's gallop, turned the Mont briefly into an island Saturday, while the day's low tide allowed people to walk on the expansive flat seabed.
Tidal specialist Nicolas Pouvreau told France 24 the surge was a few inches short of expectations.

Auteur : Patrick Dedole.
Mont St Michel, France
Sacred fortress on an island in the sea, this is one of the most magical places on the planet. Rising from the sea like a ghostly vision, this walled medieval village with a church rising at the apex is a UNESCO World Heritage site that has been an important pilgrimage site for a thousand years. Visitors still flock here for secular as well as religious reasons, to absorb this special atmosphere, especially enhanced in December when all is cold and foggy, with few visitors clogging the little lanes. Our video glimpse shows you many highlights that might tempt you to stay for a few days on the island in one of several small hotels so you can fully absorb the experience.

The secrets of Mont Saint Michel | CaminoWays.com
Mont Sain Michel, in North West France, is one of the most mysterious and breath taking spots along the Camino de Santiago in France. A pilgrimage destination for centuries, this iconic abbey is also the starting point of the Mont Saint Michel Way route of the Camino de Santiago. It heads down to the miraculous village of Saintes where it joins the Paris and Tours Way.
A Medieval Abbey Trapped by Tides and Time
Mont Saint-Michel emerges from the tides in Normandy, France, like an ancient village from a fairytale. The coastal town built on a massive granite rock cuts a dramatic silhouette against the sky, rising from disappearing marshes to a Gothic Abbey at its height. With a permanent population of around 50, this popular tourist destination has a history dating back to at least the Roman era. Fancy a tour before the tides roll in?
