Monticello Railroad Days 2019
Hello, another year of Railroad Days has come and gone, holy it felt like 2018 was yesterday.
Memes, trains, and old trains means a great combination of a video. -Dead End Productions [MTR].
Welp, there goes my ads, but I'm not expecting this to get a bunch of views so I had enough balls to put in copyrighted uNsToPpAbLe music, so yeah... :/
To be continued... in 2020.
We're going back, to Railroad Days, or the future, or past, whatever.
I railfanned with NoahInNormal822, The Midwestern Railfan, and Terminal Railfanner.
I want to mention Midwest Historic Trains and DivergingClearVideo, I met Midwest last year and Diverging, was really nice to talk to.
6071 will probably be planned for restoration soon.
Well this description is sadder and shorter than last years video on RR days so I guess this is the end.

After car troubles prevented us from going to the Monticello Railway Museum Railroad Days last year, we came for the 2019 event which occurs usually the second to last weekend of September. Quite a bit going on for the event as there were four different trains running. The three passenger trains run between the Nelson crossing depot at the museum grounds to downtown Monticello on old Wabash and Illinois Central trackage. Plenty of equipment on display including a E8A that is in the middle of a restoration. Enjoy and don't forget to comment and subscribe!!!

Riding the Steam Locomotive in Monticello, IL- 062213
We visited the train museum in Monticello, IL on June 22, 2013. We rode one of the last operating steam locomotive trains in Illinois. A historian there told us that this is the only one in Illinois operating on a regular basis. He also said there are about 200 left in the US. At their peak there were over 75,000 of them operating throughout the US.
