Montreal Insectarium at the Montreal Botanical Garden! (4K 60FPS)
Last weekend, I was visiting the Montreal Botanical Garden and while I was there I decided to visit the Insectarium! It's been a while, the last time I've been there was during a school trip! I saw a bunch of different and very beautiful insects!
The Insectarium is divided into different areas covering insects from all regions of the world. You go through the tropical forest insects to the desert to even temperate regions like Quebec! The most prominent types of insects that are on display are butterflies and they're very beautiful. I'm actually surprised at the amount of different species there are in the world and there is just a small sample here!
There is also a section that is all about insect reproduction. It's interesting to see the difference between the male and female insects of different species.

The Montreal Biodome (French: Biodôme de Montréal) is a facility located
in Montreal that allows visitors to walk through replicas of four ecosystems
found in the Americas. The building was originally constructed for
the 1976 Olympic Games as a velodrome. It hosted both track cycling
and judo events. Renovations on the building began in 1989 and in 1992
the indoor nature exhibit was opened.
The Montreal Biodome is one of four facilities operated by the Montreal
Nature Museum, which include the Montreal Insectarium, Montreal Botanical
Garden and Montreal Planetarium.

We had a great time at the Insectarium In Montreal Canada. You can see more of our videos at
We started the day off by telling how well we are getting settled in and how the flight was. Then Jia went and got the kids ready while they were playing with play-doh. They were pretending to make cookies. She did Jasmine’s hair into two little pigtail braids. Then we headed to Blake’s favorite store, Walmart to get some things like diapers, wet wipes and some other little things. I think Jackson was feeling the jet lag and wanted to take a nap. Then we gave a short tour as we drove to the next place. On our way we saw the biodome from the 1976 Olympics. Blake and Jackson were in bug heaven. There were so many static displays and live displays too. Blake had fun showing all the different kind of bugs. Jackson also loved telling his aunts all about the bugs he knew. The butterflies had such pretty colors and all the different bugs were all so big and so intricate. Then we went on a nature walk with everyone. Paul and Jackson were having so much fun running around together. Jasmine was loving her new pink sunglasses that Blake got for her at the Montreal Walmart.
