If you are interested in old fortresses, old castles and you want to see how looks castle inside or fortress inside, you can see this vlog video. Video blog about ancient city in Ukraine which calls Kamianets Podolsky is very awesome town on West Ukraine, with a great historical heritage. Ukrainian nature, Ukrainian land looks very awesome here. Ancient fighting, bridges, canyons.. they are all here in this city. Ukrainian blogger shows you awesome city, and blogger girl love to show Ukraine for you)
Kamianets-Podilskyi Castle (Ukrainian: Кам'янець-Подільська фортеця; Polish: twierdza w Kamieńcu Podolskim; Russian: Каменец-Подольская крепость; Turkish: Kamaniçe Kalesi) is a former Ruthenian-Lithuanian castle and a later three-part Polish fortress located in the historic city of Kamianets-Podilskyi, Ukraine, in the historic region of Podolia in the western part of the country. Its name is attributed to the root word kamin', from the Slavic word for stone.
No epithet is able to describe fully the splendor of this ancient city, which no other city can match, even in Europe. Founded on an island, which was created by the Smotrych River bend, Kamianets-Podilskyi has a history, which has formed its diverse appearance. An incredible quantity of amazing 11th – 19th centuries' monuments and landmarks are concentrated on the territory of the Old City. They are a big reason why this city is on the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
For over a thousand years, Kamianets-Podilskyi, located at the crossing of European trade routes and influenced by different cultures, had been a frontier castle, for which the East and the West fought constantly. The first fortification buildings appeared here in times of Kyivan Rus. However, most consider the city to have been founded in 1362 by the Lithuanian Koryatowicz princes. Legend has it that while out hunting, the brothers chased a beautiful deer, which led them to an unusual island surrounded by a deep canyon. In that place, a location saved by nature from outer threats, the Lithuanian princes decided to build a fortress.
The city grew so rapidly, that it soon turned into a large trade and craft center and began to compete with Kyiv and Lviv. But Kamianets-Podilskyi experienced real prosperity in the 15th century, when it passed to Poland. At that time, three ethnic communities lived here - Poles, Armenians and Ukrainians - each of which decorated its neighborhoods with distinct architecture. During the Polish period, Kamianets-Podilskyi became known for its impenetrability. According to legend, a Turkish sultan, who had tried in vain to enter the city, asked the local citizens: Who built this fort? The God himself did! - was the answer. So let God conquer it!” - the sultan conceded.
Ironically, in 1672 the fortress surrendered to the Turks, who left a big imprint on the city during their 27 years of governance. Later, in 1699, Kamianets-Podilskyi returned to the guardianship of Poland, and a century later it passed to the Russian Empire.
Despite the twists in history, Kamianets-Podilskyi has managed to preserve its priceless buildings almost unchanged. The main sight is still the Ancient Fortress, considered to be one of the best samples of fortification buildings in Eastern Europe. Massive walls and bastions continue to inspire with their might and majesty. Among the fort towers, the ones that stand out are the Black Tower, which contains a 40-meter well, and the Karmeliukova Tower, which is the tallest tower and was named in the 19th century after its prisoner - Ukrainian national hero Ustym Karmeliuk.
In the towers and dungeons of the fortress are unique exhibitions, which brightly illustrate the pages of Kamianets-Podilskyi’s history: scenes of medieval trials, defenses of the fort, and weapons collections are all depicted. The “Antiquities of Podolia” exposition, describing the past of the region, is especially interesting. The castle bridge that leads to the fortress is separate tourist attraction on its own. It is often called the Turkish bridge, because in 17th century, when the Ottomans ruled the city, the bridge was considerably rebuilt.
Since that time, it has been supplemented by a Turkish minaret. The complex of the Dominican Monastery also bears the imprints of different epochs and styles. And St. Nicolas' Catholic Church, included in the complex, is considered to be one of the most ancient city temples.

UNIQUE Places to Date Kiev Women | Ukraine Dating Tips
As the capital of Ukraine, Kiev offers visiting men a vast selection of activities, restaurants, and other exciting destinations to visit while dating Ukrainian women in the city.
With lush flowing green hills, nestled next to the Dnieper River, Kiev's rich history has been preserved in the many cathedrals and monasteries that still exist in the city to this day.
One of the most interesting points of interest for travelers visiting Kiev towers high above the city, depicting a gigantic woman, armed with sword and shield. Known as the Motherland Monument, this statue was erected in 1981 to commemorate the Soviet Union victory over the advancing German armies of World War II.
While the statue alone may not be an ideal location for dating Ukrainian women, girls from Kiev will surely hope to show you the vast history that exists in their hometown.
Many of the activities that are popular in Ukraine dating culture transfer well into the customs of most Western singles. Women in Kiev enjoy dancing, karaoke, bowling and even going to the cinema to watch the latest blockbuster. Cities like Kiev have several options for dining, including traditional Ukrainian dishes and fare from around the globe.
Many Kiev women active in the Ukraine dating scene have given up on finding love locally, and thus set their sights on meeting a foreign man while they're visiting their city. Several times per year, Ukrainian women attend group dating parties in the hopes of meeting their future husband.
A Foreign Affair reviews the backgrounds of all men in attendance at their dating parties, in compliance with the US IMBRA Laws. Conversely, when adding new female members from cities like Kiev, A Foreign Affair reviews each woman via an entrance interview conducted by local matchmaking staff, and by retaining two copies of photo identification for each lady.
Cities like Kiev are an ideal setting for dating Ukraine women, with the amazing history from block to block and international fare, any man will find themselves at home in this great city.
VIGILS for Innocent VICTIMS, anti WAR Rallies held in RUSSIAN and UKRAINS
Thousands have attended a Moscow vigil for the innocent victims of the Ukraine conflict, with similar anti-war events taking place in Ukrainian cities. Some of the rallies however were quickly dispersed by police when clashes erupted during the marches.
Up to 17,000 people gathered in Moscow on Saturday for a remembrance vigil of all those who perished during the conflict in neighboring Ukraine. Organized by Mothers of Russia and National Parenting Association, the event was attended by representatives across the political spectrum to show their solidarity with the people of eastern Ukraine and emphasize their unwillingness to politicize on the tragedy.
The event took place near the Tragedy of Peoples Monument on Poklonnaya Gora as the organizers apparently tried to draw parallels between the victims of the Nazi genocide and Kiev's alleged support for ultra-nationalist ideology.
Meanwhile in Ukraine, thousands took onto the streets of Kiev, Odessa, Kharkov, Dnepropetrovsk, Zaporizhia, Nikolaev and several others cities for the March of Peace – but in some cities were quickly dispersed by police who arrested some of the activists. The ultra-nationalist Right Sector also reportedly did their best to prevent the protests from gaining international attention.
In Zaporizhia, some 1,500 took to the streets despite a ban by the authorities, but were not allowed to speak out against what they called the Blind War. The police and the Right Sector “violently dispersed” the march, one of the organizers Igor Sysoenko told RIA, adding that he was briefly detained too with the security forces threatening to break his arms and legs.
In the Eastern city of Kharkov, the protest was crushed in advance with armored vehicles rolling on to the streets to “secure order,” Ukraine's Interior Office in Kharkov announced on Saturday.
“To augment measures to guard public order, the chief administration of Ukraine's Interior Office in Kharkov has made a decision to put tanks . . . patrolling of the city streets,” reads the statement.
Unfortunately, the march did not take place today; they did not let us hold it,” Natalya Kovshar, second secretary of Kharkov's city committee of the Ukrainian communist party told RIA Novosti.
Several dozen people who still dared to attend the “illegal” and “anti-Ukrainian” rally were surrounded by police and “forcefully dragged into the buses that took them to the regional department of the Interior Ministry,” Kovshar stated. Around two dozen arrests have been confirmed by the Interior Minister Arsen Avakov.
In Odessa around 1,500 people gathered to protest against government's war against its own people, but again members of the Right Sector prevented the march from taken place.
“People started joining the peaceful protest, but they were not allowed to start it; representatives of the Right Sector appeared immediately. The police were passive,” activist Oleg Negaturov told RIA.
In the capital, Kiev, the march however did take place with over 3,000 anti-war activists in attendance, some with disabilities. Activists were also able to march for peace in Dnepropetrovsk, where more than 1,000 people took part.
Meanwhile in Warsaw and Poland, hundreds also gathered to condemn Kiev's actions in the east and to show support for the self-determination struggle of Lugansk and Donetsk regions.

Sts. Peter and Paul Ukrainian Greek Orthodox Church, Kosiw, MB
Located in the Kosiw district southwest of Dauphin, MB, near the northern boundary of Riding Mountain National Park, the Ukrainian Greek Orthodox Church of Sts. Peter and Paul is a fine interpretation of a type of traditional church architecture found in Western Ukraine. Overlooking pastoral rolling farmland, the cruciform wooden church with its five eight-sided banyas (onion domes), including a large two-tiered central dome, has served the area pioneers and their descendents since 1921. SUMMARY
=======
Odessa or Odesa (Ukrainian: Оде́са [oˈdɛsɐ] (listen); Russian: Оде́сса [ɐˈdʲesə]) is the third most populous city of Ukraine and a major tourism center, seaport and transport hub located on the northwestern shore of the Black Sea. It is also the administrative center of the Odessa Oblast and a multiethnic cultural center. Odessa is sometimes called the pearl of the Black Sea, the South Capital (under the Russian Empire and Soviet Union), and Southern Palmyra.
Before the Tsarist establishment of Odessa, an ancient Greek settlement existed at its location. A more recent Tatar settlement was also founded at the location by Hacı I Giray, the Khan of Crimea in 1440 that was named after him as Hacıbey. After a period of Lithuanian Grand Duchy control, Hacibey and surroundings became part of the domain of the Ottomans in 1529 and remained there until the empire's defeat in the Russo-Turkish War of 1792.
In 1794, the city of Odessa was founded by a decree of the Russian empress Catherine the Great. From 1819 to 1858, Odessa was a free port - porto-franco. During the Soviet period, it was the most important port of trade in the Soviet Union and a Soviet naval base. On 1 January 2000, the Quarantine Pier at Odessa Commercial Sea Port was declared a free port and free economic zone for a period of 25 years.
During the 19th century, Odessa was the fourth largest city of Imperial Russia, after Moscow, Saint Petersburg and Warsaw. Its historical architecture has a style more Mediterranean than Russian, having been heavily influenced by French and Italian styles. Some buildings are built in a mixture of different styles, including Art Nouveau, Renaissance and Classicist.Odessa is a warm-water port. The city of Odessa hosts both the Port of Odessa and Port Yuzhne, a significant oil terminal situated in the city's suburbs. Another notable port, Chornomorsk, is located in the same oblast, to the south-west of Odessa. Together they represent a major transport hub integrating with railways. Odessa's oil and chemical processing facilities are connected to Russian and European networks by strategic pipelines.
