2011: Visalia, California ( Mooney Grove Park & The End of the Trail statue )
Mooney Grove Park is still one of the largest valley oak woodlands in California.
Visalia was home to the original The End of the Trail statue by James Earle Fraser. The city acquired them when they found that the famous statues were being discarded by San Francisco city officials after having no means to display them once the 1915 Panama-Pacific International Exposition was over.
Today the original statue of The End of the Trail is at the National Cowboy & Western Museum in Oklahoma City, OK. Before it was moved for good, a true-to-scale bronze replica was made and placed near the same spot in Mooney Grove Park where the original had stood until 1968.

Boycott the racism of Ken's Stakes in Visalia, CA
I was just fired from one most racist jobs I've ever had the displeasure of working at. This place never gave us a second 15 minute break, and i was on my 6th month and about to be hired on permanently as a temp through Spherion (my actual temp to hire employer), which I also contacted and had little to no help with, what so ever. If anything I was treated like the person who did the crime/assault, by all the people that were supposed to protect my rights and come to my aid. I was assaulted by a guy that's at least a foot taller than me and by all accounts way bigger than me, he's a 6'2 & 300lbs football lineman vs my 178 lbs at 5'9. I ended up being the one to get fired; and he pushed me. I was a temp at this job Ken's stakes & Supplies where the patrons are avidly verbally assaulting Latinos and blatantly racists. And the guy that attacked me, was on a constant mission to get me fired, as well as all the other Latinos who are working as temp's and even a couple of other Caucasian workers whom he got fired.
When I told (Daniel Hallmeyer) the owner pictured here, that I was assaulted and didn't retaliate, he asked me what did I do to deserve that. And then proceeded to tell me that I deserved it, because of supposedly slow production (which was a lie, I was efficient as possible), because why would they keep me for so long if I was a bad worker?
So I end up filing a police report trying to do the correct thing, and as it would happen, the guy who assaulted me made a lie saying that I assaulted him with a deadly weapon, that being one of the sharpened stakes that we work with. Which was a total lie, I never threw anything at him, and when I spoke to the police officer that I initially called to the scene, he ends up going back to me with a he-said-she-said story. Three officer then tells me that the fact that he assaulted me is a by pushing me and stepping on my shin is a misdemeanor in court, and the fact that I allegedly assaulted him with the wooden stake, is a felony against me, which I did not do. So now it seems that I could be charged as a felon, for something I didn't do. And that this racist who assaulted me, will get away with his assault and get to keep his job. I'm left assaulted by white racists and jobless. This is everything that's wrong with racist America.
