Places to see in ( Warrington - UK )
Warrington is a large town and unitary authority area in Cheshire, England, on the banks of the River Mersey, 20 miles east of Liverpool, and 20 miles west of Manchester. Warrington is the largest town in the county of Cheshire.
Warrington was founded by the Romans at an important crossing place on the River Mersey. A new settlement was established by the Saxons. By the Middle Ages, Warrington had emerged as a market town at the lowest bridging point of the river. A local tradition of textile and tool production dates from this time.
Historically in Lancashire, the expansion and urbanisation of Warrington coincided with the Industrial Revolution, particularly after the Mersey was made navigable in the 18th century. The West Coast Main Line runs north to south through the town, and the Liverpool to Manchester railway (the Cheshire Lines route) west to east. The Manchester Ship Canal cuts through the south of the borough (west to east). The M6, M56 and M62 motorways form a partial box around the town.
The modern Borough of Warrington was formed in 1974 with the amalgamation of the former County Borough of Warrington, part of the Golborne Urban District, the Lymm Urban District, part of the Runcorn Rural District, the Warrington Rural District and part of the Whiston Rural District.
The Borough of Warrington is bordered by Halton, Cheshire West and Chester, and Cheshire East boroughs in the Ceremonial County of Cheshire and by the metropolitan boroughs of Trafford, Salford and Wigan in Greater Manchester and St. Helens in Merseyside. Warrington Borough Transport, trading as Network Warrington, one of the few municipal bus companies to survive in public ownership, runs most bus services within the town.

RISLEY MOSS NATURE RESERVE, WARRINGTON | Tilly Button
A very short vlog from our day out at Risley Moss. I do mention Risley Moss Tower in the vlog and when we got home I did some research. It was deliberately vandalised and destroyed in July 2017 and will cost £200,000 to replace.
You can see the tower in all its glory on my previous blog post:

HD River Mersey In Warrington
Quick video shot close to the Warrington Rowing Club on the River Mersey in Warrington.
To be honest it took me ages to find some decent water to take the Phantom over as the ground was pretty icy and I wanted to be parked fairly close. By the time I remembered this location the light had started to fade and it had begun to rain which made me too nervous to stay out over the water for long.
Had a little crash which you can watch at the end of the vid. Only major damage was a snapped tip to one of the props but thankfully I had spares with me.
Thanks for taking the time to watch please subscribe and rate the video.

Floating In The Afterglow [vlog fall] Floating Reverie Digital Artist Residency Vlog ????
Shallow thoughts on floating, haunting, luminance, fireworks, creative processes, production, memory and media. Last vlog for the Floating Reverie postdigital art residency.
__________
[vlog fall] was a idiosyncratic creative daily vlog of absent minded forgetful recordings, shallow thoughts and elastic edits that play with the affects of authenticity in youtuber vlogs. It is a hypersubject production in self exploitation and surveillance, a life as archive in filter bubbles. Recordings were used as a lossy cultural battery / info / dataset for 3D CGI animations sequences touching on the tensions of representation and artificiality.
Floating Reverie is a postdigital art collective based in Johannesburg, South Africa.
[vlogfall] playlist:
__________
The [vlog fall] videos developed into YUNo Disface A Thousand Frames a 3D CGI animation. Hypersubjects in an electro libidinal loop with a mobile phone displace into a schizofaciality, data driven by the [vlogfall] videos.
Virtual ready made portrait busts created from 3D scans and point clouds are surfaces not volumes. This CGI surface event of the Self is a reflection of my engagement and production with vlogs and video selfies in social media. It is the consumption part of three works on the process. Void/impulse: Absent Noumena | Joziplicities, production: [vlogfall] Selfie Production. Occupants of the photogrammatic and digital panopticon are self exploiters exhibiting a filtered authenticity that dismantles the real, eliminates the Other and totalizes the imaginary in an enclosed narcissistic space.
The title refers to You Know in SMS shorthand [Yuno] and the Y U NO rage memes, hair triggered shitstorms of communicative noise from an immediate discharge of impulsive reactions. Digi-comms becomes a medium of affect and displacement. A Thousand Frames alludes to Deleuze and Guattari’s work A Thousand Plateaus and Damien Hirst’s installation A Thousand Years. The cube enclosure refers to Francis Bacon’s isolating cubes, vitrines, computer vision facial detection boxes, CGI software viewports and kill daemon spaces for chaotic simulations in visual effects software. The 3D models are made up of a surface mesh of polygons [faces] which displace like the hollow hypersubject as folding chaosmic membranes that mediate subject/object, intrusions and extrusions.
A depiction of an existential ontology of the now now now for the subject project in a shrine to be consumed by gluttonous digital ghosts. Being and your digital avatar are becoming one.
