Shredding with Posers (Us) | Moose Mountain, Alaska - VLOG 022
With warm weather hitting Fairbanks, Alaska we decide to head to Moose Mountain to do some skiing and snowboarding... Well, at least we gave it our best. We don't claim to be great or even good, but we can manage to stand up, ride/slide down, and not get hurt. That's we would like to call a successful winter adventure!

Chena River Alaska Moose hunt Hunting beyond Chena Hot Springs Chena River Moose Hunt FAIRBANKS AK
Chena River Alaska Moose hunt Hunting beyond the Chena Hot Springs The Chena River Moose Hunt was a Blast Did it solo from start to end floated the river several times before finding my chosen locations Moose hunting is a tough go alone but definitely worth the effort good years and bad years(well never bad years, just years you don't get one) Even on the years with no moose for the freezer I always get to see lots of moose an have some amazing encounters the year before this one I had a cow and calf run down the ridge right at me and I had to jump up to scare them, so I didn't get trampled Alaska moose hunting Near Fairbanks alaska there are better spots then where I got this but I had a goal to take one from this area this bull was about 55 inches and a blessing for near the end of the season this is a 2016 bull but I may try the spot out in 2017 2018 2019 2020 2021 2022 2023 2024 2025 2026 or who knows all the way out till 2030 or when I die or maybe just get too old to go it alone Lots of work and lots of distance to cover for one man but I did it!
And yes I intentionally left out the commas and periods just to make it a challenge for you to read :) Best of luck on your next alaska moose hunt

Denali National Park (Alaska) Vacation Travel Video Guide
Travel video about destination Denali National Park in Alaska.
Denali National Park is located about six hundred and thirty miles from the southern coast of Alaska and is nine thousand six hundred square miles of original Sub-Arctic wilderness. The history of the region began millions of years ago when mighty tectonic plates collided. The force of the collision folded the granite and sedimentary rock together at a huge elevation which subsequently formed the highest mountain in North America, Mount Mckinley. The coniferous forests consist primarily of birch and fir and deciduous trees and shrubs cover the stone-based valleys. An amazing variety of bushes, herbs and flowers turn the landscape into an array of bright colour. On the thin humus above the permafrost soil there’s vegetation such as Reindeer Moss, Wild Flowers, Reed Grass and Berries. The bright white fur of the dall sheep provide perfect camouflage in winter. Their favorite location is steep, rocky slopes where they feel safe from predators such as grizzly bears and wolves. The park was established primarily to protect the wild animals that were destroyed in large numbers by hunters at the beginning of the Gold Rush. But today Denali National Park is a natural paradise, a wilderness at the end of the world!

Alaska
The Great Land. The land of the midnight sun (or at least another land of the midnight sun. Iceland was my first). Gorgeous place. Snow capped mountains, Glaciers, National parks and preserves, high tides, Ice-Hotel, Ice-carving, Camping, 'Into the Wild' movie bus, trekking, hiking, the tallest mountains, BEARS!! Moose, Moose-bear hybrid (got to watch those), Santa Claus house at North Pole, sledding and husky dogs. Some of the amazing things to see and do in Alaska.
The short music clip is something I edited together from available audio in Garageband.
Cooper Landing Alaska
Just a two hour drive from Anchorage, Cooper Landing is centered on the stunningly beautiful turquoise glacial waters of Kenai Lake and the world famous Kenai River in the Chugach National Forest. Known for its world class wild salmon and rainbow trout fishing, visitors can also chance seeing grizzly & black bears, moose, mountain goats, sheep, eagles, swans, loons and other magnificent wildlife. Having visited and lived in Cooper Landing for many years, this is definitely one of our favorite places!

Moose calling in Fairbanks, Alaska
Have you ever heard moose?
Three moose were feeding in our yard this week, and one was calling out quite loudly! Surely it's not complaining about the weather - it was only -40F.
