THE EMPTY QUARTER DESERT IN LIWA, ABU DHABI plus MOREEB DUNE | UAE // ROAD TRIP
Our home base as of the moment is the UAE. We were staying here for couple of years and yet we haven't visited the highest sand dunes of the region. So, we decided to do a road trip to Liwa, Abu Dhabi to see it. Apart from the Moreeb Dune (the highest sand dune), we were able to see the so called The Empty Quarter which is so amazing!!! This huge piece of desert is shared by four countries namely Saudi Arabia, UAE, Oman and Yemen... Of course, the Camels, Oasis, Dates Farm and the spectacular sunset of the area are added up bonus when exploring the area. We recommend visiting this place!!!

الربع الشرقي الفارغ في ليوا وأبو ظبي زائد موريب دمن | الإمارات العربية المتحدة / رحلة على الطريق
قاعدتنا الرئيسية حتى اللحظة هي الإمارات العربية المتحدة. كنا نقيم هنا منذ عامين ، ومع ذلك لم نزر أعلى الكثبان الرملية في المنطقة. لذا ، قررنا القيام برحلة على الطريق إلى ليوا بأبوظبي لرؤيتها. وبصرف النظر عن Moreeb الكثيب (أعلى الكثبان الرملية) ، كنا قادرين على رؤية ما يسمى ب الربع الخالي وهو مدهش للغاية !!! هذه القطعة الصحراوية الضخمة تشترك فيها أربع دول هي المملكة العربية السعودية والإمارات العربية المتحدة وسلطنة عمان واليمن ... وبطبيعة الحال ، يتم إضافة الجمال والإحياء ومزرعة التمور وغروب الشمس المذهل للمنطقة مكافأة إضافية عند استكشاف المنطقة. نوصي بزيارة هذا المكان !!!

Baza noastră de acasă, ca moment, este EAU. Am stat aici de câțiva ani și totuși nu am vizitat cele mai înalte dune de nisip din regiune. Deci, am decis să facem o excursie la Liwa, Abu Dhabi, pentru ao vedea. În afara Dunei Moreeb (cea mai înaltă dună de nisip), am putut vedea așa-numitul Golful Quarter, care este atât de uimitor! Această mare parte a deșertului este împărțită de patru țări, și anume Arabia Saudită, Emiratele Arabe Unite, Oman și Yemen ... Desigur, Camelia, Oasis, Dates Farm și spectaculosul apus de soare al zonei sunt adăugate bonus atunci când explorați zona. Vă recomandăm să vizitați acest loc!

Embracing 50 villages and almost 100 kilometres of land, the Liwa Crescent contains a natural aquifer, providing irrigation for a number of crops.

Amazing Liwa Oasis
Amazingly beautiful, Liwa Oasis is one of the most remote places in United Arab Emirates. Driving on scenic roads, you can see some of the highest sand dunes in the world, including the most famous one: Tal Mireb (tel moreeb means scary hill in Arabic)
NOTE: from min 00:55 till min 01:39 is the only portion of this clip that is not filmed in Liwa (shows the drive from Dubai to Liwa)

I believe this is one of the best scenic roads in UAE.
Tal Mireb in the center of Liwa desert is a touristic destination. there are many attractions in winter like the camel race, buggy vehicle dune climb, and other sand sports attractions.
And also there are so many fast food shops, cafes in the midst of the desert. (I have visited here in winter time)
However, when I came here this time in summer, no one nor shops there and I sensed a kind of isolation. If you like solitude, I recommend going there in summer.
