Pantai Morib - The forgotten beach in Banting
Pantai Morib is a great holiday destination located near Simpang Morib, about 10km from the town of Banting. It is a pleasant and peaceful place where everyone can relax and enjoy by the ocean. It is a famous tourist attraction, thus also known as Malaysia's Gold Coast. It has a beach frontage around 22 km long placed facing the Straits of Malacca. The sea between Indonesia and Malaysia has been sheltered by the land and it block the wind and high waves, so they have calm waves and it is considered quite safe. The seafront has been made into a promenade with a recreational park, equipped with facilities such as gazebos, playgrounds, walkways and a food court, while shaded by lush trees growing along grassy fields. There are also a couple of hotels near that area, including Morib Gold Coast, a large resort development along the coast, which is around 7km away.

If you are happen to be in Kuala Lumpur and seeking more off-tourist spot, the west coast of KL route is among the best places to visit in Malaysia. You can either drive yourself or get a hired tour guide to access these spots. Starting journey from KL to Klang/Banting (seaside city and town) will take around 45 minutes.
From there on, driving along the coast road (sometimes off the coast) and you will cruising along these locally famous locations. Your first stop Pantai Morib (Morib Beach) and don't forget to visit the Gold Cost Morib, the iconic place to visit in Malaysia. Then you will reach a sleepy town, Tanjung Sepat which burst into life during weekend due its popularity among the city folk.
The final stop will be Port Dickson, a coastal town in Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia. Port Dickson is famous with its beach and extremely crowded during the weekend. Though you still can get much more quiet and intimate moment if you choose a luxury hotel with private beaches.
This is my first off-tourist visit in Malaysia. It's a one day visit which starts my journey from morning and back to home before midnight of the same day. These are definitely one of the best off-tourist places to visit in Malaysia

Morib was formerly a popular beach located in Selangor, Malaysia. Morib Beach (Pantai Morib) is a quiet seaside tourist attraction which is historically noted for being one of the first landing points on the west coast for the British and Indian Army liberation forces during end of World War II in 1945. It is a small but suitable beach for swimming.
It is located near Simpang Morib, which is about 10 km from the town of Banting. Morib attracts more than 10000 visitors annually notably during the month of August, festive seasons and public holidays.
