Jam Eats The World - Tokyo and Sendai Day 1
Manila - Tokyo - Sendai
Flew with the flag carrier. Thanks to the great miles promo we got 50% off mileage requirements to fly to HND.
Landed at Haneda and immediately exchange our JR East South Hokkaido at the ticketing office near the Monorail.
TIP: Suggest you pre-book your ticket reservations at JR East if you are taking JR trains in the area and can also now book for JR Hokkaido trains.
Using our first day of the JR Pass (flexible 6 days for 14 days), we took the Monorail to Tokyo Station. There we rode the Hayabusa Shinkansen to Sendai.
Sendai is our base for the next 3 days. Again, using my hotel points we scored these accomodations for free. :)
Walked around JR SEndai Station, downtown Shopping arcarde and ate grilled beef tongue for dinner.
The grilled beef tongue is one of my tasty discoveries this trip. Definitely a must try in Sendai! Highly recommended.

Visiting Japan is never really complete without bringing 1 or 2 food to be enjoyed later when you are home. This time, we are very curios with this Muji Instant Noodle. Unlike Muji store in Indonesia where they only sell clothes, stationaries, kitchen equipments and some furnitures, Muji in Japan also sells packaged food. Wondering how it looks like?
