There is Morioka Hachiman Shrine in Morioka City, Iwate Prefecture.
Morioka Hachiman Shrine was erected by the 29th Shigenobu Nanbu in 1680, more than 300 years ago.
St. Hachiman is the street in front of Hachiman Shrine, and it was often used at work last month. As I walked, the cityscape was very beautiful and there was an emotion and atmosphere, so I went to shoot. It is different from the bustle during the day and during festivals.
岩手県盛岡市には盛岡八幡宮があります。
盛岡八幡宮は今から３００年以上昔の延宝８年（１６８０）、第29代南部重信公により建立されました。
八幡通は八幡宮の前の通りで、先月お仕事でよくあるいていました。歩いていると街並みが非常に綺麗で情緒、風情があったので、撮影に臨みました。日中や祭りの時の賑わいとは別の良さがあります。

Here is day 5 and 6 of my Tohoku road trip. We covered a lot of ground in our last two days in Tohoku. We managed to revisit Iwate prefecture to try our luck at the wanko soba eating challenge. We finished our trip where we began in Aomori prefecture and got to see the amazing Inakadate Tambo art.

Ueno Park (上野公園 Ueno Kōen) is a spacious public park in the Ueno district of Taitō, Tokyo, Japan. The park was established in 1873 on lands formerly belonging to the temple of Kan'ei-ji. Amongst the country's first public parks, it was founded following the western example as part of the borrowing and assimilation of international practices that characterizes the early Meiji period. The home of a number of major museums, Ueno Park is also celebrated in spring for its cherry blossoms and hanami. In recent times the park and its attractions have drawn over ten million visitors a year, making it Japan's most popular city park.

The Hakuchō (白鳥 Hakuchō?) and Super Hakuchō (スーパー白鳥?) are Japanese limited express train services which operate between Shin-Aomori and Hakodate via the undersea Seikan Tunnel. The services are operated by East Japan Railway Company (JR East) and Hokkaido Railway Company (JR Hokkaido) respectively. The services commenced on 1 December 2002, initially operating between Hachinohe and Hakodate, coinciding with the opening of the Tohoku Shinkansen extension from Morioka to Hachinohe.[1]

Once a year in Kumamoto is the Drunken Horse Festival. The streets are filled with people dancing and singing whilst walking behind multiple horses. The horses are also given beer before the parade hence the name drunken horse. A long time ago after the parade had finished the people participating at the horses.

Japan Trip 2016 - Day 4 - Shibuya, Harajuku, Kabukicho, and Meetup Picnicat Yoyogi Park!
A very busy day following our rest day. We have a lot to do in terms of shopping and decided to roll the dice on a Meetup group in Yoyogi Park. Meetup is a good application to use in Japan to meet other travelers and make quick friends. We end the day heading back to Shinjuku and heading deep into Kabukicho.
