FES, MOROCCO - 1/2 Day Tour (BAD Travel Day)
We arrived in Fes having had planned for lots of time to walk around the Medina. However, our Riad had tried to scam us by not buying our bus tickets to Chefchaouen as we had agreed upon. Instead, they offered me tours since there was no way to make it.
I ended up spending several hours running around all over the city before finally buying tickets for a local bus for the next day.
Sometimes these things happen and you deal with it as best you can.

In today’s video we embark on a quick journey to Morocco! Watch how even experienced travelers manage to miss a boat ride, but still make it across the Gibraltar Strait for a little shopping spree. The girls get some lovely souvenirs from the local markets and Tyler gets...to take photos:)

Tangier, Morocco: Europe Meets Africa
More info about travel to Morocco: Most visitors to Tangier take a tour, daytripping in from Spain for a predictable series of experiences. But wandering through this delightfully disorienting town, at your own pace, is more fun. And to enjoy it with maximum understanding, you can hire a local guide.

What Traveling in Morocco is Like | ???? Fez to Chefchaouen
Taking the bus from Fez to Chefchaouen. If you visit Morocco, you are sure to visit other cities during your time there. Apart from private taxis (which is a real thing there), the bus is probably going to be your next best option... but even that is quite an experience in itself.

The final Morocco vlog is here! Camping in the Sahara Desert at a spot called Merzouga.
Here we rode camels to our remote campsite, spent the night eating Moroccan food and listening to music played by the locals.
In the morning we made our way back to our new campsite by camel ride before jumping into some Jeeps to go on Safari.
To end it all a big long 13 hour bus ride to Marrakesh so we can finally show you what staying in a Riad is like.

SHOPPING THE FES MEDINA in MOROCCO
With our last full day in Fes, we decided to go shopping in the Fes Medina (in Morocco).
It was a pretty relaxing day winding through the streets and market, but we needed a day to relax after a number of busy long days on the road.
Our city tour of Fes was so amazing and we highly recommend visiting and trying some of the local delicacies like Pastilla or a Tajine.
The Marriott hotel Jnan Palace was a beautiful place to stay and we'd highly recommend it for all, if you're looking for a nice place outside of the Medina area. Although, our preference is to stay in a Riad within the city walls usually!
Check back in a few days for when we head to Barcelona for our last few days of this trip!
