Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States virtual tour
There are slides of Independence Hall, Liberty Bell, Philadelphia City Hall, Philadelphia skyline, Citizens Bank Park, Fairmount Fair Works, Morris Arboretum, Chinatown, Philadelphia Museum of Arts, etc.
Philadelphia is the largest city in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the fifth-most-populous in the United States. In the Northeastern United States, at the confluence of the Delaware and Schuylkill River, Philadelphia is the economic and cultural center of the Delaware Valley, and is the only World Heritage City in the United States.
In 1682, William Penn founded the city to serve as capital of the Pennsylvania Colony. Philadelphia played an instrumental role in the American Revolution as a meeting place for the Founding Fathers of the United States, who signed the Declaration of Independence in 1776 and the Constitution in 1787. Philadelphia was one of the nation's capitals in the Revolutionary War, and served as temporary U.S. capital while Washington, D.C., was under construction. In the 19th century, Philadelphia became a major industrial center and railroad hub that grew from an influx of European immigrants. It became a prime destination for African-Americans in the Great Migration and surpassed two million occupants by 1950.
The area's many universities and colleges make Philadelphia a top international study destination, as the city has evolved into an educational and economic hub. The city is known for its arts, culture, and history, attracting over 39 million domestic tourists in 2013. Philadelphia has more outdoor sculptures and murals than any other American city, and Fairmount Park is the largest landscaped urban park in the world. The 67 National Historic Landmarks in the city helped account for the $10 billion generated by tourism. Philadelphia is the birthplace of the United States Marine Corps, and is also the home of many U.S. firsts, including the first library (1731), first hospital (1751) and medical school (1765), first Capitol (1777), first stock exchange (1790), first zoo (1874), and first business school (1881).

Places to see in ( Philadelphia - USA )
Places to see in ( Philadelphia - USA )
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania’s largest city, is notable for its rich history, on display at the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall (where the Declaration of Independence and Constitution were signed) and other American Revolutionary sites. Also iconic are the steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, immortalized by Sylvester Stallone’s triumphant run in the film Rocky.
Blessed with the glamour and culture of a big city, 'Philly' as it's affectionately known, also delights visitors with its rich history and small-town charm. By the late 19th century Philly had evolved into the 'Workshop of the World.' Its industries generated abundant wealth, which funded large construction projects, including City Hall and the Benjamin Franklin Pkwy, and filled cultural storehouses such as the Philadelphia Museum of Art and Penn Museum. Experiments in architecture and social policy resulted in buildings like Eastern State Penitentiary, while philanthropist Dr Albert C Barnes built up an astounding collection of art for public consumption. This spirit of civic pride and sharing continues in contemporary projects such as Isaiah Zagar's Philadelphia's Magic Gardens.
Declared a World Heritage City by Unesco in 2015, Philadelphia was at the heart of US colonial and revolutionary history. Founded by British Quaker William Penn in the late 17th century, the 'City of Brotherly Love' cherishes and protects its earliest days within the Independence National Historical Park of the Old City. Visiting original institutions such as Independence Hall and the seeing iconic landmarks like the Liberty Bell will help you appreciate the deep passion for freedom that motivated the new nation's founders. Excellent museums devoted to the Constitution, the American Revolution and Benjamin Franklin round out that education.
Philadelphia is home to many national historical sites that relate to the founding of the United States. Independence National Historical Park is the center of these historical landmarks being one of the country's 22 UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Independence Hall, where the Declaration of Independence was signed, and the Liberty Bell are the city's most famous attractions. Other national historic sites include the homes of Edgar Allan Poe and Thaddeus Kosciuszko, early government buildings like the First and Second Banks of the United States, Fort Mifflin, and the Gloria Dei (Old Swedes') Church.
The city contains many art museums, such as the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts and the Rodin Museum, which holds the largest collection of work by Auguste Rodin outside France. The city's major art museum, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, is one of the largest art museums in the world. The long flight of steps to the Art Museum's main entrance became famous after the film Rocky (1976).

We grow hundreds of types of trees and shrubs in several other states beside in Fountainville. One of our most popular types of trees we grow are Green Giant Arborvitae. Highland Hill Farm has been growing arborvitae since the farm has started. The Green Giant Arborvitae is an excellent plant for blocking neighbors without forfeiting much of your back yard for the plant to grow on. It also is easy to transplant and grow. We grow and sell many sizes and also have other types of arborvitae for sale as well. An adaptable plant it tolerates a wide range of soil and hardiness zones and is not troubled by significant pest or disease problems. The Green Giant is ornamentally appealing as a single specimen, as a screen, or as a living frame for your special landscape. The Green Giant was recognized as the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society Gold Medal Plant Award for 1998. The Green Giant is a vigorously growing, pyramidal evergreen with rich green color that remains outstanding throughout hardiness range. This plant has dense, rich green, scale like foliage in flattened sprays borne on horizontal to ascending branches; good winter color except, perhaps, in the southeast american states. It has no serious pest or disease problems and has been widely grown and tested in commercial nursery production. The Green Giant is an excellent substitute for Leyland cypress. This Plant is planted 1.5 to 3 meters apart in rows for screening. It is also deer resistant except not deer proof. We sell these trees from 0.3 meters tall liners to 7 meter tall specimens. These trees can be planted in partial shade, in clay soils, and sandy soils.

Chestnut Hill; A Philadelphia Neighborhood
Chestnut Hill is located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The neighborhood is ten miles northwest of Center City. Its boundries are Cresheim Creek, Stenton Avenue, Northwestern Avenue, and the Wissahickon Creek. Originally, the area was inhabited by the Lenape (also known as the Delaware Indians). In the late 17th century the English Quaker and founder of Pennsylvania, William Penn, granted the land to Palatinate families. In 1854, Chestnut Hill became part of Philadelphia. Today, The National Trust for Historic Preservation named the neighborhood as one of America's dozen distinctive destinations in 2010. For more details check out
