芝桜(Shibazakura) is a moss pink little flower. There are various pink colors of them. Kunitake-no-Shibazakura is a very wonderful place to visit. The best time to see them is from mid-April to mid-May.
Some decades ago, the old lady of 国田家(the Kunitas) planted only a handful shibazakura (moss pink) in the corner of their farm. They have been grown by the Kunitas and their supporters for a long tome. And now the flowers give us such a pleasant time.
