Cape Tribulation and Mossman Gorge | Daintree Rainforest | Queensland, Australia | Travel with Kids
From Port Douglas we took a day trip in the car to Cape Tribulation. Cape Tribulation is located in the Daintree Rainforest in Far North Queensland, Australia. First we stopped at Mossman Gorge before heading to the crossing at Daintree River. From here it was a beautiful drive through the Daintree Rainforest up to Cape Tribulation.

Mossman Gorge in the Daintree Rainforest is the cultural home of the Kuku Yalanji Nation, the indigenous people of this breathtaking land. Visiting Mossman Gorge is a wonderful experience where you really can get an appreciation for this ancient land.
This beautiful and tiny waterfall and swimming hole lie on the pristine waters of Wurrmbu Creek in Mossman Gorge. It is one of the most peaceful and beautiful places I have ever visited. Honestly I was breathless with excitement at it's beauty.

We travel to Port Douglas staying at Peppers Resort whilst we explore Port Douglas - Mossman Gorge and the Daintree Rain Forest.
Enjoying our time with the Avery kids, my cousins and my Aunt Mary.
Port Douglas is a town on the Coral Sea in the tropical far north of Queensland, Australia. It's known for its beach resorts and as a base for visits to both the Great Barrier Reef, the world's largest reef system, and Daintree National Park, home to biodiverse rainforest. In town, Macrossan Street is lined with boutique shops and restaurants. Curving south is popular Four Mile Beach.
Mossman Gorge is located in the southern part of Daintree National Park in Far North Queensland, Australia, 80 kilometres north of the regional town of Cairns and about five kilometres from the cane-farming town of Mossman. It is part of the traditional homeland of the indigenous Kuku Yalanji people.
The Daintree Rainforest is a region located on the north east coast of Queensland, Australia, north of Mossman and Cairns. At around 1,200 square kilometres, the Daintree is a part of the largest continuous area of tropical rainforest on the Australian continent.

Daintree Rainforest | Mossman Gorge | Beach | Wild | Nature | Cairns, Queensland, Australia 2019
My 3rd day in Cairns, Australia. I took a day trip to Daintree, one of the oldest rainforest in the world. My morning starts with a scenic ocean drive from Cairns to Mossman Gorge. We were welcomed by the traditional owners, the Kuku Yalanji people with a smoke ceremony. After had a swim at the gorge, we then headed to Daintree River to experience a wild life cruise on the river. After lunch, we explored the ancient rainforest environment at Bubuji Broadwalk, and at the end of the broad walk, there is one of the most beautiful beaches I've ever seen in my life.
It was an amazing day!!

Mossman Gorge is a 56,000 hectare area within the World Heritage Listed Daintree National Park
and is best known for its mesmerizing beauty. The dense tropical rainforest is a sacred place for
the Kuku Yalanji Aboriginal tribe as they are said to have inhabited the area for some 4000 years.
A deep understanding and respect for the rainforest has been passed down through generations and
the Kuku Yalanji people still look after and protect the natural wonder while inviting guests
from all over the world to share with them their rainforest experience. A prime location for
swimming, walking, or observing some of Australia's unique flora and fauna,
the Mossman Gorge is one of the most stunning places in the world.
