Shinjuku Gyoen - Mother and Child Forest - Tokyo Parks - Autumn Colors Japan
More about my visit to this park:
Are you looking for an educational or outdoor family activity in Tokyo? A place to take a break from dense buildings and crowds? Shinjuku Gyoen National Park is 583,000 square meters, and it's just a 10-minute walk from the world's busiest railway station.
On my most recent visit to Shinjuku Gyoen, I recorded a short video of my walk to the Mother and Child's Forest to see gorgeous mid-November colors in the trees. This video is a 3-minute peek, including the park entrance, the forest entrance, a small pond and waterfall, and a few pauses to read informative signs; the last 30 seconds are of the breathtaking effect of early sunset on the tall, autumn-colored cypress and sequoia trees. #nofilter
It's definitely not my best camera work, and I'd love to make a better video someday if I have the time, but I still want to share it so you can get a feel for the Mother and Child Forest: the difference between the buzz of human activity at the park entrance compared to the serenity of birds singing in the forest; some of the trees and water features of the landscape; and a few of the informative signs there.

Home in children's hearts | Kenichiro Sasaki | TEDxSapporoSalon
Born in Miyazaki, Japan. After graduate school, worked in landscape planning consultant from 2001. While in the project of planning barrier-free park, he realized the fact there are children with serious illnesses who cannot come to the park.
In 2004, joined Group to Establish Solaputi Kids' Camp organized by the pediatricians and park-planning specialists and devoted to build a private camp with medical care. With offered 16 ha landmass from Takikawa city in Hokkaido, he started to live in Hokkaido in 2007.Group to Establish Solaputi Kids' Camp has developed from general incorporated foundation to public interest incorporated foundation in 2010, with success of 700 million yen donation in 7 years and with building facilities of stay, dining and bath room and medical care unit. In Summer 2012, the camp with medical care for children with illness has come into, as the first project in Asia.
He and Solaputi Kids' Camp have realized to invite children with serious or life threatening illnesses such as cancer freely. Children enjoyed riding horses or playing in forests with the support of the camp and he also played with kids, called Ken-san from them.
Almost of the operation and building cost of the camp are covered by donation in this Japan, where the donation culture is not usual compared to West countries. He has strong will toward it with I want to change Japanese donation culture. The change is now getting realized, such as the official support from Tokyo Marathon. He dreams to invite children to the camp from all over Asia.

Marko's trip in Japan - Sapporo in autumn
When I visited Sapporo, Hokkaido in Japan on October 25
it was not cold.
Winter climate in Ulaanbaatar arrive about one
month ahead Sapporo.
Population of Sapporo is about the same as Ulaanbaatar,
1.5 million.
People, livestock, surroundings here in Sapporo looks so
manmade, unnatural and unhealthy. Those in Ulaanbaatar
looks much more natural, healthy and positive atmosphere.
Life in Mongolian Gel with livestock train and educate child
to be healthy charactered harmonious adult.
In Japan 20% or more child are discarded in the family,
disregarded at all by his own parents and spoiled wasting
almost all his time alone in front of TV game.
Here in Japan girls are trained to be equal to boys and
grow up to like drinking liquor, smoking tabaco and fooling
around in midnight yelling lewd words.
Of course they hate to be mother who should stay home
taking care of baby. But some of them make baby just
like buying a pet at pet shop but soon they get bored, tired
and throw baby away....poor babies !
Many of them are physically and mentally very ill, very
abnormal and very allergic ending up in suicide and mental
disorder.
People here in Japan do not understand that human
being should be trained to be human otherwise he or she
can not grow up to be human.
Sympathy for the Japanese.
Pity for the spoiled Japanese child.
We Mongolian is fortunate and lucky without such serious
social problem and we are Buddhist minded. Buddhism
in Mongol came from Tibet. We are living in predestined
life and heading for next world after death. This kind of
belief make our life peaceful and stable. Tibet Buddhism
and Srilanka Buddhism is very close so Thai, Burma
and Mongol are religiously very close each other.
That's why people, atmosphere of society and culture
in Thai, Burma and Mongol is such a comfortable, cool & cute
and healthy. We all under the same Buddhism spirit and soul.
Thai, Burma and Mongol ( people call them Golden Triangle
of follower of Buddha. GTB in short.) we understand that
torch of Buddha has been passed to us in 3,000 years long.
You see, if we three nation fail, all Buddhism shall fail. If we
three nation survive, Buddhism shall survive. We Mongolian
bear the burden to pass Buddhism to next generation together
with Thai and Burma. We welcome it willing to bear the burden
for the success of Buddha's vision.
By the way, Japan ?
Japan and China is in Kanji world and religiously confusing.
They seem to believe in money and grade in school that
lead to good job and good money. ( Korea and Vietnam
is actually in Kanji world but they try to stay out of it and
like to pretend standing out of China Kanji world)
What happen to those who are out of order in Japanese
money order world ?
Nobody care. Here in Japan people interested in money,
only in money. No way to be saved in Japan.
So I plan to save Japan out of such a predicament.
I propose to Монгол Улсын Ерөнхий Сайд Алтанхуяг
to establish MICA ( Mongol International Cooperatin Agency)
to help Japan, to support Japan and to educate Japan.
I am not joking. I am serious.
You should remember that we Mongolian is the only one
who came here to Japan to fight. (USA during WW2 came
to Okinawa island and Iwo jima but not to main land Japan)
Some 700 years ago Хубилай хаан sent his army to teach
Japan what is Empire beyond tribal nation.
Let's teach Japan a lesson again, teach happiness of life.
Back in Mongol we have privileged Mongolian height where
we have kept living for more than 5,000 years.
Mongolian traditional life style is foundation of our happiness.
I love to preserve Mongolian life style in my mother town,
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia Улаанбаатар, Монгол
My fellow 10,000 Mongolian who currently live, study and
work in Japan please do not forget Mongolian life style
that is our inherited property of our own and in future
we Mongolian all together enjoy our Mongolian life style
back home in Mongolia and let's listen to Dalai Lama's
talk. He will come back again soon to talk to people in
Mongol where he can feel at home.(Mongol is his home.
you see, he is a kind of Pope, his Tibet government Vatican
and Mongol supposed to be Italy) I hope, I really hope so.
By the way today I uploaded 25th Youtube video.
25...is meaningful, memorial and nostalgic
number for me. I first met him Aug.25, at the age
25 and in Japan Heisei 25 year. I first traveled down
to Thailand on Nov.25. 2011 and stayed there 25 days.
You see, 25 is my lucky, favorite number. I like it.

Marko's trip in Japan - Sapporo in winter
Sapporo is in Hokkaido island, Japan.
I stayed there for a while.
Sapporo is clean, comfortable and efficient society but everything
is very expensive and people looks not so happy and satisfied.
I understand and sympathize with Japan because I as a
Mongolian experienced the same situation in history.
In Japan people feel proud of Asia because of Mongol
Empire that advanced to Europe and Japan.
As a Mongolian I am glad and appreciate that Japan
feel proud of Mongol Empire so much.
In Mongol people feel proud of Asia because of Khmer
Empire that produced Angkor Wat. Can you imagine why
Thai, Burma and Cham Pa civilization is such a wonderful one ?
Because they are all looking at Khmer Empire as their ideal.
Just like Roman Empire for European we Mongolian feel
very proud of Asia because we have Khmer Empire.
Khmer and Roman, which Empire is more excellent ?
Military and Territory....... about the same
Architecture..................... Khmer win
Religion........................... Khmer(Buddhism) and
Roman(Christianity)
influence about the same
Life span......................... about the same 1000 years
Culture............................ Khmer win
So concluded that Khmer Empire is more excellent.
Japan ?
Japan can get no satisfaction because he could not have
Empire of his own ?
No, no, no.
Situation is much more complicated.
Japan Empire ( 1895 - 1989 , first half military and second
half ecomonic ) have similar experience to Mongol Empire
( 1271 - 1368 ). Both nation prospered , flourished and
conquered China ( Land where we Mongolian call
Hyatad and Japanese call Shina ) as well as
surrounding area for about 100 years and got tired,
exhaused and senile.....collapsed, deteriorated from inside.
Why 100 short years ?
Because these two nations like indulging himself in
dispersing DNA. That dispersed DNA made enemy strong.
You see, Mongol experienced the phenomenon some 700
years ago and learned lesson from history. Japan just
started realizing the reality.
Empire collapsed but we Mongolian still maintain our
ancient life style that is necessary to keep evolutionary
human nature as one species of creature.
As for Japan, Empire collapsed and Japanese life style
disappear at the same time because Japan like imitating
and pretending to be British or Amarican in childish imaginary
fantasy.
Now time has come for Japan to wake up out of dreaming
and to face the truth.
I give you two examples.
First, here in Sapporo everyday 2-3 people finish his or her life
by suicide. It's one of highest suicide rate in the world.
On the surface superficial of Sapporo society I see no beggar
on the road, no homeless bum in the park and no ghetto in
the city. Why ? Where has 20 % poor gone ? I can not see them
because they are strictly prohibited to show up in the city.
20% citizen are forced to live in the dark invisible under world
and many of them commit suicide. 10 years ago in Ulaanbaatar
we saw many manhole children, street vendor and alcoholic on
the road because in Mongol everybody has basic human right
to show up in the society and place to live in public.
Second, now only 20,000 Ainu people (native of Japan who has
more than 10,000 years history of resident on Japan islands)
survive here in Hokkaido. 20,000 means that Ainu people as
a race has been eradicated and extinct. And now some Japanese
politicians proudly declare that Japan is a nation of Japanese,
only one race of Japanese.
Ainu people is not Japanese, speaking different language, having
different culture, history and blood. 100 years ago Hokkaido and
half of Honshu was land of Ainu who millions of population
prospered. But now almost all of them were killed or hidden from
Japanese society.
American native Indian, Australian Aborigine and Minority tribes
in Mongol are much, much more happy, respected and accepted.
Open, visible and honest & free society............................Mongol
Clandestine, invisible and secret & concealed society......Japan
Therefore I love nowadays Mongolian society much more
because I can feel alive, innocent, unspoiled and straight
forward looking attitude toward life, Mongolian life.
BGM include 2 Japanese pop songs,
KANDA GAWA and ANO SUBARASHII
AI WO MOUICHIDO.
Mongolian song usually like to express
direct emotional human passion on the
other hand Japanese like to sing to express
fragile delicate individual feeling. You can
see the difference when you listen to two
