Moti Masjid Lahore ........... ???? Pearl Mosque(Moti Masjid)
????(Pearl Mosque)
This video is based on my experience Pearl Mosque is also called Moti Masjid. The Masjid is located at the northern part of the walled city in Lahore. One of the most beautiful city in Pakistan.
I'm going to be describe Pearl Mosque
Description of Pearl Mosque(Moti Masjid) ????
A 17th-century religious building located inside the Lahore Fort. It is a small, white marble structure built by Mughal emperor Jahangir, and is among his prominent extensions (such as Sheesh Mahal and Naulakha pavilion) to the Lahore Fort . The mosque is located on the western side of Lahore Fort, closer to Alamgiri Gate, the main entrance.
Moti(✺) in Urdu language means pearl, which designates a perceived preciousness to the religious structure. It was an established practice among Mughal emperors to name the mosques after generic names for gemstones.

Bhopal Heritage Masjid's Documentary film on Heritage monument
There are three Beautiful Architecture Heritage Masjid's in Bhopal.
1. Jama Masjid
2. Tajul Masjid
3. Moti Masjid
1. Jama Masjid.......
Jama Masjid is a small, yet beautiful mosque that was built by Qudisiya Begum in 1837. The most distinguished feature of this well-preserved monument is the two massive minarets that are clearly visible to naked eyes even from a considerable distance. Reflecting the dexterity of Islamic artisans, interiors of this mosque are remarkable.
Inside the mosque are three bulbous cupolas, accompanied with a series of alabaster-white columned arches and a marble internal sanctum. Jama Masjid had undergone an extensive renovation after 1947, when a small pond was added to it. Holding great importance as a holy place, this mosque is frequented by tourists on a large scale.
2. Tajul Masjid......
Taj-ul-Masjid, named as the ‘The Crown of Mosques’, is an old mosque that was also used as a madrasah. Sultan Shah Jehan Begum of Bhopal (1868-1901) started the construction of this mosque. However, it was completely built only after 1971 by the great efforts of Allama Mohammad Imran Khan Nadwi Azhari of Bhopal.
Designing of the mosque features a pink façade, on top of which stand the two 18-storey octagonal minarets with marble domes. Below the three huge bulbous domes of the mosque lies a main hallway with beautiful pillars and marble flooring. Further, the mosque encompasses a courtyard with a large tank in the centre.
The double storey gateway in the courtyard, posing four recessed archways and nine cusped multifold openings, leads to the main prayer hall. Quibla wall inside the prayer hall is adorned with eleven recessed arch carvings and fine screens of trellis work. The pillars hold 27 ceilings, 16 of which have ornate petalled designs......
3. Moti Masjid.......
Moti Masjid, situated in the heart of the city, is a beautiful shrine signifying the history of Bhopal Begums women in India. Commonly known as the Pearl Mosque, this shrine was constructed in 1860 by Sikander Jehan Begum of Bhopal, the daughter of Qudisiya Begum. Architecture of this mosque is more or less similar to the Jama Masjid in Delhi.
Standing majestically in brick red colour, this mosque features a white marble façade with two small cupolas on the top. On either side of the main building is a dark red tower adorned with bright golden spikes. Considered to be the gate to heaven on earth, these beautiful minarets are used for the call to prayer for the faithful followers of Islam.

MOTI MASJID (NEW DELHI)
Moti Masjid or the Pearl Mosque was built by Mughal emperor Aurangzeb for his personal use. It would take him just a short walk from his bed chamber to reach the sacred place of worship at various times of the day or night. The mosque was also used by the ladies of the Haram, who entered through the passage in the northern wall of the enclosure.
The mosque is built over a raised plinth and entered through an eastern arched gateway with a copper plated door. The courtyard of this mosque is encircled by high walls.Though the red sandstone was used externally, its interior is composed entirally of pure white marble. The prayer hall of the mosque is inlaid with outlines of 'musallas (small carpet of prayers) in black marble and it stands at a higher level than the courtyard. The hall is surmounted by three domes originally copper placed.

Moti Masjid - मोती मस्ज़िद- जिसका भारत की मुस्लिम महिलाओं के इतिहास में है एक बेहद ख़ास स्थान
Popular as the City of Lakes, Bhopal is also known for the significant shrine of Moti Masjid. It was built in the year 1860 by Sikander Begum, daughter of Qudisiya Begum and the history of the mosque is associated with her emancipated deeds and thoughts. She brought a revolution in the territory and led to architectural development and got many roads, buildings and monuments built, Moti Masjid being one of them.
The architecture of the mosque resembles that of the famous Jama Masjid in Delhi, however, it is relatively smaller in size. Made of dark red bricks, the main edifice has a marble facade while the main prayer hall is constructed with lustrous white marble that shimmers like a pearl and thus, the mosque got its name as the Pearl Mosque. Two red minarets with golden spiked cupolas stand proud at either sides.
The mosque is easily accessible through local or private transport. Morning is the best time to visit the mosque as then it is less crowded. There is no entry fee to visit Moti Masjid. Shaukat Mahal, Van Vihar National Park, Lower Lake and Birla Museum are among other attractions located near the Moti Masjid.
