PARIS - Moulin Rouge & Montmartre - Day 3
Day 3 of 42 in Europe... Another early morning in Paris?
Nah. Slept in until 1. After lunch, we headed to the nearby Canal Saint-Martin in the 10th arrondissement for a stroll and some cocktails.
On our way to Moulin Rouge, we take a little walking tour in the neighborhood of Montmartre where many famous artists have lived.
The Moulin Rouge show was fantastic - way better than I had imagined. Watch for the full review.

Il Moulin Rouge è il più famoso dei cabaret parigini, celebrato in pittura da Toulouse-Lautrec e in ambito cinematografico, di recente, dal film di Baz Luhrmann interpretato da Nicole Kidman.

A first-person perspective Paris walk tour outside the Moulin Rouge on Boulevard de Clichy in the district of Pigalle.
See all the sights as Watched Walker (yes, I’m talking about myself in the third person) takes us on a walking tour through the streets of Paris, featuring the area outside of the Moulin Rouge. The brief tour takes place on Boulevard de Clichy, outside of the Moulin Rouge, the world-famous Belle Époque cabaret club.
Sights seen along the tour include the Blanche Metro entrance, Promotrain (mini tourist train), a noisy air-vent in the middle of Place Blanche, and the exterior of the Moulin Rouge.

Moulin Rouge is a popular Parisian cabaret or entertainment place located in the eighteenth (18th) arrondissement of Paris along Boulevard de Clichy in Montmartre. It was opened in the 6th of October 1889, co-founded by Charles Zidler and Joseph Oller.

The Moulin Rouge celebrated its 130th anniversary with a lights and dance show October 6. The light show tracked the history of the Moulin Rouge from 1899. The celebrated cabaret and restaurant opened as a ballroom; later turned into a music hall. The French cabaret is famous for its high-kicking cancan dancers & costumes. Popularised by its trademark cancan dancers, it was a huge success during the Belle Epoque.
