O Mount Adatara fica aproximadamente 250 km ao norte de Tokyo, é um vulcão, podendo ser escalado em qualquer época do ano.
Fomos no inverno porque queríamos trilha com neve, a paisagem é linda mas torna a trilha mais difícil e cansativa.
Como chegar: Saindo de Ueno sentido Estação Nihonmatsu de trem bala, da estação de Nihommatsu tem ônibus até o Adatara Resort que é uma estação de Ski e também o início da trilha.
Boa parte do ano as gôndolas funcionam, então você pode fazer metade da montanha de gôndola, o que facilita bastante.
