Para sa mahilig mag-hunt, gaya ni Michael Trott,
Hindi naging maingat ang nature lovers na si Clint Galentine at ang kanyang kaibigan.
Si Galentine at ang kanyang kaibigan ay naglalakad sa Oakridge Trails ng Hillsborough Wildlife Management Area, kung saan naghahanap sila ng mga pabo na maaring kunan ng litraro.
Doon sila napagkamalang usa ni Trott.
Dalawang beses binaril ni Trot tang inaakala niyang usa, na tao pala!
Pinagtulungan ni Trott at ng isa pang lalaki na pigilan ang pagdugo ng dalawang tama kay Galentine, bago siyanadala sa ospital.
Swerte ni Galentine, at siya ngayon ay nagpapagaling sa ospital. Iniisip rin niya malamang,
kung paanong napagkamalan ni Trott na usa,
ang dalawang lalaking gumagawa ng ingay ng pabo?

Takachiho Valley 高千穂峡 8KHDR
Takachiho Gorge is a canyon covering the Gokase River in Mitai, Takachiho Town, Nishiusuki-gun, Miyazaki Prefecture. National scenic spot, designated as a natural monument
The high temperature pumice flow (a kind of pyroclastic flow) that erupted twice, about 120,000 years ago and about 90,000 years ago, flows thickly along the valley of the Gokase River at that time due to the volcanic activity that created the Aso caldera from the large eruption. This pyroclastic-flow deposit was cooled and solidified to form a welded tuff, resulting in columnar joints. Because welded tuff is susceptible to erosion, Takachiho Gorge is again V-shaped canyon by erosion of the Gokase River. A cliff reaching up to 80 to 100 m in height continues for 7 km, and this is collectively called the Gokasegawa gorge (Takachiho Gorge).
高千穂峡（たかちほきょう）は、宮崎県西臼杵郡高千穂町三田井にある五ヶ瀬川にかかる峡谷である。国の名勝、天然記念物に指定されている
大噴火による阿蘇カルデラをつくった火山活動によって、約12万年前と約9万年前の2回に噴出した高温の軽石流（火砕流の一種）が、当時の五ヶ瀬川の峡谷沿いに厚く流れ下った。この火砕流堆積物が冷却固結し溶結凝灰岩となり、柱状節理が生じた。溶結凝灰岩は磨食を受けやすいため、五ヶ瀬川の侵食によって再びV字峡谷となったものが高千穂峡である。高さ80〜100mにも達する断崖が7kmにわたり続いており、これを総称して五ヶ瀬川峡谷（高千穂峡）と呼ぶ。
昭和9年（1934年）11月20日に名勝、天然記念物に指定された（「五箇瀬川峡谷（高千穂峡谷）」）。昭和40年（1965年）3月25日には祖母傾国定公園に指定された。
真名井の滝（まないのたき）は、高千穂峡の川幅が狭まった部分に流れ落ちる滝である。日本の滝百選の一つ。
峡谷の崖上は自然公園となっており、その中にある「おのころ池」より流れ落ちる水が真名井の滝となっている。
神話によれば天村雲命（あめのむらくものみこと）という神が天孫降臨の際に、この地に水がなかったので水種を移した。これが天真名井として湧水し、滝となって流れ落ちているといわれている。
夏季は午後10時まで滝周辺がライトアップされ幻想的な雰囲気を出している。
「真名井の滝」付近は峡谷に沿って遊歩道が整備されており、「真名井の滝」や「仙人の屏風岩」、「槍飛橋」などを観光しながら高千穂神社まで歩いていくことができる。なお、「槍飛橋」から高千穂神社までは、悪路ではないが階段状の山道がつづくので歩く場合は歩きやすい靴や服装の方が良い。
また、峡谷は貸しボートで遊覧できるようになっており、峡谷に流れ落ちる日本の滝百選の一つである「真名井の滝」の至近まで近づくことが出来る。
夏には近くのお茶屋でそうめん流しが楽しめる。

Buell BRCA October 2011 ride.
This ride started in Cranbourne where the official ride to the Phillip Island Moto GP starts, however we rode ahead and parked in Grantville to watch all ride by.
We then did a loop through the hills and on to Cowes where there was entertainment including a band on stage with a large screen overhead and a small bike show with plenty of nice parked bikes to see etc.

I headed in to climb Broken Top from the Little Three Creeks Lake trailhead. This route takes you through the Pole Creek burn area and Park Meadow. I made camp at the foot of the northwest ridge just past Golden Lake and got up at 5 am to make the summit climb while the sun was rising. Woof!!
