For the second of the 2015/16 Domestique 7 Peaks Rides we headed out to West Gippsland with ~350 riders to tackle what is one of Australia's hardest climbs: Mt. Baw Baw.

Climbing Mt Baw Baw
Climbing Mt Baw Baw, Victoria.
When we arrived at the bottom of the mountain, we were told we didn't need a permit or snow chains. Score! Straight up we went.
The roads were steep and slippery requiring 1st gear most of the way.
At the top, it was cold enough that a lighter wouldn't work unless you kept it warm upon your person. Batteries also suffered from the cold. The GoPro battery died after ~ 1 hour. Phone batteries lasted until the next day before dying.

WE DID SKIING AT MOUNT BAW BAW | VLOG
My friends called me and told me that we need to go out and I said Yes, lets go. We left around 3 am in morning for Mount Buller but couldnt make it. We went to Mount Baw Baw, it was my first visit at this place and I loved it.
I did Skiing for the first time and crashed like 10 times in a row but in the end I managed to do it. We all had fun!

OMCC once again hosted the Mt Baw Baw Trial for 2018. The sections were wet and slippery, which in the middle of summer was quite unexpected and challenging for most.
