Mount Carleton, New Brunswick
On the weekend of 7/15/2017, I drove solo to Saint-Quentin, New Brunswick from southeastern New Hampshire to hike the highest point in NB and the Maritime provinces, 820 m/2,690 ft Mount Carleton. Living in NH, I'm spoiled with the White Mountains, but I was pleasantly surprised by how rugged and scenic the mountain and its views were, given its location and low height.

Mount Carleton Fall Hike-Amazing Clear Views
A short video showing the beautiful hike up Mount Carleton during my solo hike this fall, located near St-Quentin, New-Brunswick Canada. Mount Carleton (820 meters/ 2690ft) is the highest point in the maritime and is home of a prestine and wild nature. The park has a multitude of hiking trail network that give you access to other significant peak: Mount Sagamook, Mount Head and Mount Bailey. The 5,5 km trail to the summit of Mount Carleton can be completed in about 2-3 hours depending on your fitness level. I definitively recommend this hike if you live in the region or visiting the province.
