Mounts Kitanglad - Dulang-dulang - Langkayugan - Maagnao (KD2LM) Traverse
Last June 2019, I joined my friends in climbing KD2LM in Bukidnon: a 4-day traverse in 2 of the Philippines’ highest mountains. The trail, which takes you deep and high in the Mt. Kitanglad Natural Park, is beautiful and savage at the same time. I’m not sure I’d like to do it again. Perhaps when I get stronger.

Mt. Capistrano Trekking Experience 2016
Mt. Capistrano is located at Sitio Binalbagan, Brgy. Simaya, Malaybalay City, Bukidnon, Philippines. It has become a popular tourist’s spot destination with an altitude of 2,000 feet (609.60 meters) above sea level. Although it has rough trails and sharp rocks, nature trekkers and mountain climbers find a good spot at its peak to see a vista of Bukidnon’s beauty as it offers a free, panoramic view of the nearby mountains and vast lands of rice and cornfields. It requires 1 to 2.5 hours’ trek before you see the summit.

Mountain Trekking In Philippines, Mt. Kitanglad, Bukidnon (Part 1)
*** I have decided to keep these Mt. Kitanglad adventure videos very raw. I hope it gives you a glimpse of what it is like trekking here with a group of friends in the Philippines :)
Part 1 involves the first half of the climb going up. We had to adventure off-road just to get to the trail head. This was followed by a trek into vegetation, some snacks, and a little bit of Para-Paran!
This is part 1 of my #BecomingFilipino Mt. Kitanglad adventure trek in beautiful Bukidnon, Mindanao!
