Drive up to Mt. Lemmon, Arizona 1993 Part 2
Here is Part Two of my trek up the Catalina Highway in Southern Arizona from Tucson to Mt. Lemmon. Mt. Lemmon,by the way, is the southernmost ski area in the contiguous United States. I did this drive back in the spring of 1993.

Come along as I tackle the legendary Mt. Lemmon climb in Tucson, AZ. This is one of the most famous climbs among professional cyclist in the US and is a breeding ground for cycling snowbirds during the winter months!

You can easily see the separation of the different materials which they are dumping into the atmosphere from the Weather Control Statospheric Geo-Engineering program which is being conducted daily over Arizona as well as the entire United States!

A breath taking adventure
A collection of the finest climbs in the southern state of Arizona: Mount Lemmon and Mount Graham. The ride to the ski resort of Summerhaven and the very top of Mount Lemmon, just outside Tucson, is a breath taking 47 km adventure that starts in the desert and leads you to the pine forest at the top. The 34 km ride to the top of Mount Graham is widely considered the toughest climb in the state. As soon as the road bends, you are into serious climbing on steady grades. The views down to the flat desert below are absolutely spectacular.

Mt Lemmon is a beautiful, stunning and magic place, especially when you drive up there during sunset =) The sunset was taken at Windy Point. I definitely recommend you to drive up there, at least until Windy Point and enjoy the sunset there. Just look at the pictures, shown in order as I took them. You can see a lot of stars there at night, unfortunately my cameras were not able to catch them as they appeared in reailty.

Tucson's backyard - Going for a beautiful Sunday ride to Mount Lemmon (O'odham: Babad Doʼag) which is the highest point in the Santa Catalina Mountains, located in the Coronado National Forest north of Tucson, Arizona, United States. Peak elevation is 9157 ft (2791 m). It receives about 57 inches (1.4 m) of snow annually. Mount Lemmon received its English name in honor of botanist Sarah Plummer Lemmon, who trekked to the top of the mountain with Native American guides by mule and foot in 1881.

The Loop - 100 Miles of Paved Cycling Pathway in Tucson
On March 17, 2018 Pima County is celebrating the completion of the The Loop – a system of more than 100 miles of paved pathways that runs in Tucson, Marana, Oro Valley, South Tucson and unincorporated Pima County. It began after the historic floods of 1983 as a way of building banks to try to prevent future catastrophic floods so the recreational component was added which serves pedestrians, bicyclists and equestrians.
