Witton's Reserve - Wonga Park - Warrandyte State Park

Filmed March 27 2012. Witton;'s Reserve is on the Yarra River, Wonga Park, at the end of Reserve Rd. It has a picnic/barbecue area, canoe launching ramps, fishing spots. Walking tracks start here to the Clffiord Park scout camp and to Mt Lofty.

Exploring Mt Lofty, Warrandyte State Park

The views from Mt Lofty, in the Warrandyte State Park, 30 km east of the Melbourne CBD, are superb. On the day of my visit, February 23 2009, where I completed a 3 km circuit hike, serious bushfires continued to burn across Victoria and in the mountains near to Melbourne.
