Hiking Mt Ngungun, Glass House Mountains
outdoortravelchannel.tv - Mt Ngungun, one of Queensland's Glass House Mountains, is a short hike (1.1km to the summit) that rewards with spectacular views over the Sunshine Coast Hinterland, nearby mountains, the Pacific Ocean, and northern Moreton Bay islands.
The walk isn't terribly difficult, but bushwalkers should exercise caution along the ridge and summit, keeping away from cliff edges.

Climb the Glass House Mountains on the Sunshine Coast
The Glass House Mountains National Park is noted for its distinctive craggy peaks that tower above the surrounding landscape.
Formed by volcanic activity millions of years ago, these ancient rocky outcrops are of special significance to the Gubbi Gubbi Aboriginal people.
The Mount Ngungun summit walking track is a 2.8 kilometre trail that begins in open forest and offers great views of Mount Tibrogargan, Mount Coonowrin and Mount Beerwah from the summit. Don't forget to pack your camera as you'll find a 360 degree panoramic view of the coast and hinterland when you reach the top!

Climbing Mt Ngungun in the Glasshouse Mountains | Brisbane, Australia
Today we've made a small road trip up to Mt Ngungun which is positioned in the Glasshouse Mountains. They are actually named this as they look like shards of glass rising out of the ground! Again, no koalas to be seen... We got to fly the drone though and got some amazing shots before heading to a small nearby town named Maleny. Maleny is famous for its dairy farms and its waterfalls! So we were lucky enough to get to visit one of its waterfalls whilst we were there.

Climbing Mt Ngungun for some Sensational Views! | Glasshouse Mountains, QLD
Mt Ngungun is located in the Glasshouse Mountains on the Sunshine Coast in QLD, Australia. The Mount Coolum Summit Walking Track is a 2.8km return climb. Whilst challenging is perfect for both adults as well as children. The view from the top over Mt Beerwah and Mt Coonowrin is breathtaking!

A day trip to Mt Ngungun in the Glass House Mountains. Perfect weather and a great hike only 30 minutes.
Drone was flown no higher than 100 meters and always in line of sight. All images were cropped and edited to show close ups and the drone did not fly within 30 meters of the general public.

We did a one day trip from Brisbane to climb one of the magnificent mountain - Mount Tibrogargan. The summit is at 364m height and to reach the top, you have to litteraly climb.
Be careful cause it's extremely steep- vertical sometimes and there is no rope or chain to hang. But the view is so worth it.

Sun’s out (n)gun’s out or in this case ya buns! Mt. Ngungun is one of the more frequented Glass House Mountains and it’s easy to see why! Not only is the summit trail interesting, green and beautiful, but the payoff is the best of all the Glass House Mountains. You don’t have to expend that much time and/or energy getting to the top and once you’re there you get a stunning view of the more impressive peaks in the mountain range!
