LATE POST VLOG
Nag hiking kami papuntang Mount Pinatubo via Botolan Trail last December 2017.

Mt. Pinatubo Zambales Volcano Trek⎜2018 Adventure
Who would think that the 1991 volcanic eruption of Mt. Pinatubo, which is 2nd most destructive in the world of this century, would give birth to a majestic natural wonder that adventurers like me would enjoy?
Hello trackers! I am Lex and this is my Mt. Pinatubo Adventure.
As we all know, the last week of April is reserved for Boracay Beach for the annual Laboracay Holiday. But with the current situation in the island, we have to search for a perfect alternative. My friends and I decided to go on a little adventure and zeroed-in to a mountain trek. I’ve been wanting to do this trek ever since I hiked Taal Volcano. So without thinking, I said yes! And thankful, I did say yes!
IF YOU’RE ON TIME, YOU'RE LATE!
Yes, we arrived a minute past 6:00 am and everyone is ready for the briefing but us. We settled in quickly for this orientation is so essential, it could save you from danger. The team of TRIPinas headed by Ms. Ann, an experienced mountaineer, provided everyone an overview of the volcano and the adventure that we are about to face. (Listen and Learn!) After the orientation, we were group accordingly and jumped into our own 4X4 vehicle and ride the Lahar terrains for about an hour (I assume) to the jump-off point. While on the road, prepare yourself for the Lahar ashes, that's why in the video, you will see our faces fully covered.
(TIP: Be the first vehicle to leave to avoid this dermatologic disaster.)
Expect mandated stop overs so you can take snaps of the mountain ranges of the province.
(TIP: Ask your driver to slow down at some points so you can do your selfies while on the road, they would not mind.)
THE JUMP-OFF POINT.
This place is so majestic, I tell you! You will be welcomed by what they call Sand Castles. these gigantic land masses were formed by the Lahar that escaped the volcano when it erupted. In this stop, another orientation for the adventure-seekers like me. Make sure to listen! (I did not because I was filming... Hahaha! My friends did.)
If there's one thing that I remembered from the orientation, it is the 7 kilometer trek to the crater. Expect an hour 45 minutes trek on the sandy to rocky to uphill to downhill terrains of Pinatubo under the 37-38 degree Celsius heat index of the summer sun.
(TIP: BRING WATER, I MEAN LOTS OF IT! Hydrate yourself and don't die from heat stroke!)
OMG!
The trek is not that easy, really! Ms. Ann clearly specified that this is an Easy trek; that is according to classification of mountain treks. But, I tell you, if you are finicky and squeamish (what I'm trying to say is Certified Maarte), it is Difficult! But the scenery, I should say, that welcomes you every turn you make will compensate the effort. This place is amazingly breathtaking!
2 HOURS AND 20 MINUTES
Yes, I made extensions and got what I deserved...
The Mt. Pinatubo crater is majestic! Picture Perfect!
We decided to have our lunch first before actually exploring the crater for all of us have an impending hypoglycemic attack from the long trek to this point.
(TIP: Pack light, it is not a buffet feast. Unless you have your yay with you to bring everything.)
THE CRATER
30 minutes after lunch, we headed down the volcanic crater and just simply stare at it for quite some time. You will wonder, how is this even possible? It's beautiful, no words can describe the feeling I felt after reaching this point. It's like all my millennial complaints are now gone.
BONUS
Look for the waterfalls and you will find it!
(TIP: We asked our tour guide where the nearest falls is, and he showed us. Its just about 10 minute detour.)
BEWARE OF LAHAT ASHES!
On our way back to the town with our 4X4 ride, the morning Lahar ashes somewhat multiplied to 100 million!
(TIP: Make sure all your gadgets are kept inside you bag! My camera lens was damaged.)

Short Hike to Pinatubo Crater Lake | Mount Pinatubo, Zambales | Philippines | We.Are.Wanderful
Short Hike to Pinatubo Crater Lake
2nd half of Bong, Marie & Aryan's Pinatubo Adventure via Trail AdvenTours
MARCH 24, 2013—The hike to Pinatubo's crater lake is just a short and easy 1km which we completed in just about 30 minutes. We were extremely lucky, actually, because the hiking part to Pinatubo's crater lake will never be any shorter than that. But it could be longer—anywhere from 1 to 10 kms—depending on the condition of the trail/road leading to Pinatubo's crater.
Pinatubo's crater lake is very beautiful. Our photos of it seem like paintings. Knowing its violent and catastrophic origin only adds to its allure.
This is a short slideshow video presentation of short hike to Pinatubo Crater Lake. Enjoy watching.

???????? Mount Pinatubo Flyover, Philippines
Mount Pinatubo is an active volcano on the island of Luzon, Philippines. It erupted back in 1991 producing the second largest terrestrial eruption of the 20th century. We did flyover in single engine 4 seat plane, built in Arizona in 1949. Property of our pilot Jimmy, the Vietnam War Veteran.

A Beautiful Disaster ♥️ | Mt. Pinatubo, Botolan Zambales Philippines
**(Yung isa sa best part ng video ay yung pinaka dulong part hahahaha! Kung umabot ka dun sabay sabay tayong tumawa hahahahaha!)**
...
“A beautiful disaster”, was another known name of Mt. pinatubo’s crater lake since it erupted in 1991. It caused a massive destruction in Zambales and in the nearby city’s and towns during and after its eruption but left a beautiful crater years after.
More than a year ago, November 2017, we had a very unique and amazing adventure in Botolan, Zambales Philippines. We had the chance to experience the beauty of Mt. Pinatubo! And also got to meet and spend some time with the aeta’s children living near the area who were all very sweet and jolly!
Although this experienced was not well documented (because I was not filming, editing and uploading vlogs back then) I tried to compile all the videos and pictures that I have recorded to show you at least the high lights of our trip especially our time with the aeta kids.
Enjoy!!!

STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE GOING TO MOUNT PINATUBO 2019 l BUDGET TRAVEL VLOG #6
*Please watch in HD* l Hi, It's me Tina! :) l Please SUBSCRIBE, LIKE AND SHARE! :)
**We started the trip with a ride on a 4×4. It would take a one hour ride through deserted lahar and mountains before reaching the drop off point. We were like in a Lion King movie set up. That was really amazing! You'll see a lot of different rock formations 360 degrees! We saw different volcanic rocks, streams of water, and tints of sulfur along the way.
The hike was about 90 minutes on average.
Mt. Pinatubo erupted and created these huge Mountains of lahar. Landslide is still possible so we have to be very careful. We truly enjoyed the hike.
We were not prepared for the beauty that was in front of us. I cannot describe in words how beautiful this experience of reaching the crater. You have to experience it yourself!
Age Limit:
Minimum of 8 years old and a maximum of 60 years old on the longer hike. All guests are required to present identification as proof of age.

We.Are.Wanderful
MARCH 24, 2013—Marie and I have long wanted to experience the Mount Pinatubo adventure but we didn't know how to go about it.
Lucky for us a friend of ours told us about Trail AdvenTours and we quickly booked our Pinatubo adventure online. We even got our good friend Aryan to join us.
Our Pinatubo adventure has two parts. The first part involves riding a 4x4 from a certain basecamp in Capas Tarlac which will bring us all the way to within spitting distance of Mount Pinatubo's crater lake in the mountains of Zambales. From there we were to hike for a mere kilometer to reach the crater lake.
This video is about the 4x4 part of our adventure.
Planning to do your own Pinatubo adventure? Preview your adventure by watching ours. Enjoy!
