Waves at Holland State Park

Lake Michigan waves were abnormally high Tuesday, Dec. 5, at Holland State Park in Holland. The forecast called for wind speeds of 43 mph.

Kirk Park, Hike around the trails, Holland Michigan

A short one mile hike around some of the trails at Kirk Park near Holland Michigan. This is a county park on the beaches of Lake Michigan. Our old middle aged bodies got quite the workout on all the stairs and up and down trails. Barely any flat spots (for Michigan, that's pretty unusual). Great park for a quick walk through the woods.

The Hollander 2017

Tulip Time and New Holland Brewing are back with the Hollander for another year! Once again, using all locally Michigan grown products in their brew, and some of the grains gound at DeZwaan Windmill. The Hollander will be available in very limited supply starting at Tulip Time.

Hiking the trails at Hemlock Crossing near Holland, Michigan.

A nice six mile hike through the many trails in Hemlock Crossing in Holland, Michigan. It's an Ottawa County park with a great visitors center and a large trail system for hiking and cross country skiing. The Weaver House is also part of this video which can be rented for weddings.

I'm not sure what happened at the end of the video. Bad editing I guess. I should watch the final product before I upload next time. Nothing was really cut off though. It was just the part where I say Thanks for watching and see ya on the next one.
