Thousands of steps! Hiking Qianshan China
Hiking Qianshan in Liaoning province China. Great place to get out of the city and enjoy some amazing views.
Relatively easy to get to.
If you are coming from outside of Anshan take the train to Anshan West. From there the easiest way is to take a taxi to Qianshan around 40mins. The entry for the park is 60-80 rmb depending on if it's the busy season or not. We hiked five buddha peak and then followed the ridge line back to the entrance. This took about 3 and a half hours, but there is also a cable car you can take. Leaving the park is easy there are plenty of busses that go back to the central train station in Anshan (bus no. 8).

We are somewhere in the Qianshan National Park!
In the last episode we climbed up the side of a mountain and we start this vlog where 'that one' left off..
The views on top of the thousand mountains (China) is absolutely incredible!
You can see why they are called 1000 mountains (Qianshan)..
There is quite literally thousands of mountains.. they keep going! Wherever you look.. the mountain range goes on forever!

A bit about the Mountains...
(Chinese: 千山国家公园; pinyin: Qiānshān; literally: Thousand mountains)
The Qianshan National Park is a mountainous national park in Liaoning Province, China, 17 km by road, south east of Anshan.(Where we were staying)
The park is in the Qianshan Mountains (Chinese: 千山山脉), named after itself, that extends from the Changbai Mountains in the China-North Korea border, westward to Liaoyang, then southward to Dalian in the southern corner of Liaoning Province.

We had just got back from an 8 hour hike up the Qianshan Mountains, China.
We first stop off at the flat in Anshan and then off to our next hotel as we had been kicked out of our previous hotel due to being westerners.

Alrighty! This dinner was a special treat from a friend of ours, which we highly appreciate! Wan Long BBQ is in Anshan China, they may have other locations too. Service was great, and the food was aboslutely decilous! Great variety of Vegetables and meat for the pan BBQ. The style is quite similar to koren bbq that is available in the US. The dipping sauce comes pre-made here, and is a soy sauce base. Personally, I thought the beef cuts were best on the BBQ, and my favorite veggies were the sweet potato and Shitake mushrooms.
