Hiking Australia - Mt Sorrow, Daintree Rainforest
Welcome to the first video from our amazing trip to Australia! We are super excited to finally get these videos published, so sit back and enjoy our pain, while you relax in the comfort of your home. :)
In this episode, Jen and I head to North Australia, to the Daintree Rainforest, where we tackle the seemingly easy Mt Sorrow. Turns out, the only thing easy about this hike is reading the stats from the comfort of your accommodations.
Here's the GAIA GPS track from our ascent:

Rope On Mt Sorrow Ridge Trail - Cape Tribulation, Australia
We sweated up the slopes of Mt Sorrow in Cape Tribulation, and found this rope to help us up the steepest part. Watch for a good laugh at me falling while showing off!

Mt. Sorrow. Cape Tribulation, Australia. Rain forest hike
First off. Yes I do talk to myself and yea i make weird noises when I am pushing myself to the limits.
The first part is me going up to the peak and after the pictures it is me going down.
I slipped several times and catching myself, but i did fall once on my ass but it wasn't when i was recording :p
Keep in mind I had a 40lb bag on me with two cameras and a GPS device i was holding all the time.
Last part of the video is the beach of cape tribulation.

Stirling Ridge Walk: A two day hike over the Ridges Western Australia
A 2 day hike over the Stirling Ridges from the bottom of Ellen Peak to the top of Bluff Knoll. Spectacular scenery over the Stirling Ranges and a bit of a taste of alpine conditions in Western Australia. Bivy'd in a cave over night at Third Arrow which was hands down one of the most beautiful camp spots I've ever stayed at. Great company and hard relentless hiking through thick scrub and a few hairy traverses made for a brilliant trip!

Recently did an awesome 6 hour hike walking and swimming through a gorge in the middle of Sunshine Coast's rainforest. One of my favourite hikes so far. Got a little more creative with this video, giving it a little more meaning than most. An adventure to me isn't just an adventure, I pursue an experience that shuts down all negativity and lets me enjoy the moment. I let it take over. I live it.

After my second WWOOF house I stayed with, they took me on a road trip north to Cape Tribulation in the Northern most part of Australia. Hiking to the top of Mt. Sorrow and taking a little boat ride to see some salt water crocs / salties (unsuccessful...)
Life is quiet and pretty remote up there, even during the peak season of Winter there was hardly anybody up there. Great place to head if you want some peace and quiet.
Song is a short sweet one called Percy Warner Park by Aussie artist Boy & Bear. No copyright infringement intended, just want to share some music I think is wicked as.
