The main featured spots in the video are:
Town of Banff and surrounding area, Lake Louise, Town of Golden and surrounding area, Johnston Canyon etc...
The Town of Banff was the first municipality to incorporate within a Canadian national park. It is a resort town and one of Canada's most popular tourist destinations, known for its mountainous surroundings and hot springs. It is a destination for outdoor sports and features extensive hiking, biking and skiing.
Lake Louise is a glacial lake within Banff National Park in Alberta, Canada. Fairmont's Chateau Lake Louise, one of Canada's grand railway hotels, is located on Lake Louise's eastern shore. It is a luxury resort hotel built in the early decades of the 20th century by the Canadian Pacific Railway.
Johnston Creek is a tributary of the Bow River in Canada's Rocky Mountains. The creek is located in Banff National Park. A popular hiking trail follows the canyon and leads to a meadow within the Johnston Valley above the canyon. The first part of the trail consists of a constructed walkway with safety rails and bridges, while the last part of the trail is natural and more rugged.
I've had a great time visiting Northern Lights Wildlife Wolf Centre in the vicinity of the town of Golden. This wolf sanctuary and it's instructors, armed with their wealth of knowledge, give the centre's visitors a true depiction of these majestic and reclusive creatures.
I've also had the pleasure of spending the night at the Mount 7 Lodges near golden BC. The hosts were splendid as well as the accommodation. The views...spectacular!
Unfortunately, the weather during the time of the shoot was less than perfect with extended periods of cloudiness and rain. However, even under those conditions, a visit is highly recommended!
Filmed in June 2011.

The Calgary Tower is a 191-meter (627 ft) free standing observation tower in Downtown Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Originally called the Husky Tower, it was conceived as a joint venture between Marathon Realty Company Limited and Husky Oil as part of an urban renewal plan and to celebrate Canada's centennial of 1967. The tower was built at a cost of $3,500,000 and weighs approximately 10,900 tonnes, of which 60% is below ground. It opened to the public on June 30, 1968 as the tallest structure in Calgary, and the tallest in Canada outside of Toronto. It was renamed the Calgary Tower in 1971.
The building was a founding member of the World Federation of Great Towers.

10 Travel Tips for Calgary, Banff & Alberta in Canada
These are my carefully selected top 10 travel tips for Calgary & Alberta and includes the best places, travel tips and things to do in Banff & Calgary ranging from the most famous hot dog, a helicopter ride with Rockies Heli Tours to the most beautiful place in Canada called Lake Louise. Subscribe to my channel ► for weekly videos!
Maps, address, photos & my personal advise on my blog:
I decided to visit my friends from Holland who were exploring the Canadian Rockies with their RV, before chasing them down in Banff I treated myself on the most famous hot dog in Canada at Tubby Dog and tried to break the glass floor at the Calgary Tower.
Photos, guide, maps & details on my blog:
It was such a memorable experience meeting my Dutch friends on the other side of the world so we decided to do it up proper with a family BBQ and a few local brewski's, namely the Powder Hound by The Grizzly Paw which is a local brewery in Canmore, Alberta.
On our first adventure we left in the early morning to take the Banff Gondola to Sulphur Mountain, one of the most mesmerizing views of Banff. Make sure to fill up prior on a classic Canadian breakfast at Tim Hortons, the Canadian way.
The next adventure was a private helicopter ride at Rockies Heli Canada who took us from Kananaskis through the Rocky Mountains. It was a gorgeous clear day which resulted in excellent video footage. We even saw the same river where they shot the movie: The Revenant.
What also amazed us were the buck loads of wildlife passing by the RV throughout our stay at Banff's tunnel mountain campgrounds.
In next week's article I will give you all the details on our adventure at Lake Louise were I completed an 11 hour, 20 kilometer hike, thus best is to relax and relieve your sore muscles at Banff Upper Hot Springs after that trip.
In conclusion we were very fortunate that we had excellent weather with blue skies the entire trip. I highly recommend visiting Calgary, Banff & Lake Louise in the first week of June for the best experience.

Roadtrip Vancouver - Calgary via Banff Jasper Yoho Nationalpark
It took us 13 days in August, 1600 km and 500 litres of fuel to travel from Vancouver to Calgary with the 30-year-old RV called Granny. Asking fellow travelers to jump-Start Granny became a usual procedure which gave us the chance to meet a lot of helpful people. After a while, however we had to buy new parts for the old lady which made her run like a teenager again. Due to the 150 years anniversary of Canada, we were lucky to enter all the National Parks for free. This is how we visited Yoho, Banff and Jasper National Park always on the search for bears.

Canada Road Trip: The Best Things To Do In Alberta, Canada
In this video, we share some of the best things to do in Alberta, including Calgary, Edmonton, Banff, and Jasper!
Welcome to Alberta, Canada!
From boreal forest to vast prairies and high mountain peaks, Alberta is an incredible province to explore. This is Canada's fourth-most populous province and one of only two Canadian provinces that are land-locked. This is also our home province and it was very fun to be able to experience Alberta as part of the Road to 150 travel series.
We rode a gondola to the top of a mountain, walked on a glacier, hiked to various waterfalls, canoed a glacier-fed lake, had fun at the second-largest indoor waterpark in the world, hiked into a canyon, learned about dinosaurs, rode on a steam train, and learned about Canada's star music talent. We also went up into the iconic Calgary Tower, rode the worlds largest indoor triple loop rollercoaster, and drove the world-famous Icefields Parkway. We packed a lot of adventures into our short visit and can't wait to explore the province deeper.

We explored Alberta from September 28 - October 11, 2017.

Canada's Road to 150 is a 150-day Canada-wide multi-media road trip celebrating Canada's 150th birthday by exploring the uniqueness of this country provincially and collectively while answering the question; What makes Canada special?
We will drive to and through every driveable province and territory, showcasing Canada's natural beauty and regional attractions while interviewing Canadians of all cultures and backgrounds, including local celebrities, immigrants, refugees, and everyday rural and urban Canadians. Our aim is to dig deep into what makes Canada such an incredibly inspiring country while showing off the best of Canada's tourism to Canadians and to the world.
