We catch the train and travel back in time over the famous Gokteik Viaduct then spend the night in a 3 story bamboo treehouse.

We Said Go Travel From Mr. Charles guest house, we explored Hsipaw by bicycle. We saw a family taking their ox cart to the central market. I loved seeing the ox cart on the street. I almost feel like I traveled back in time to when everyone only used an ox cart.
We biked to the central market, Black House Coffee Shop, the rice fields and weaving shop. In the central market, we met several colorful characters.
I like the description of Hsipaw in the local literature: Hsipaw is a charming small town situated on the Dottawaddy River in the Shan plateau. Formerly, it was one of the Shan princedoms ruled by the Shan Saobwa or Tai Saopa. Sprawling rain trees provide a canopy of shade along the busy main streets framed by family owned shops, lively markets and restaurants. The town's population is approximately 30,000 with the majority belonging to the Shan tribe; the remaining minorities are the Myanmar, Palaung, Lisu, Kachin, Kayin, Indian and Chinese.

Myanmar - Trekking in Hsipaw - Drone 4K - 2017
Fourth country of my world tour 2017/2018. Video 4K with a drone Phantom Dji 4 and Samsung Galaxy S8 in Hsipaw- November 2017. For maximum resolution, change the setting at the bottom right of the auto video to 4k.
Hsipaw is in the north of Myanmar. If you are here, it's only for trekking. I advise to do a jungle trekking. Normally, you already did the Inle lake and Kalaw and it's some similar landscape.
From Kalaw to Inle lake, i did my trek alone, but for this one, it was impossible (in the middle of the jungle).
You have a lot of agency to book your trek 3 days / 2 nights. In my case, I had with Mr Bike. It was really nice!
