In the third episode of the Drone and Phone series in Batanes, DJ Clark went to climb the highest mountain in the province while Don Lejano ventured into finding the best places to eat around Basco.

Tukon Chapel, Mt. Iraya, Rolling Hills - Batan Island, Batanes
After a 40-minute steep hike, I reached this stone chapel built atop the Tukon hills of Batan Island. In this video, one can see the cloud-covered Mt. Iraya looming in the background, as well as Batan Island's rolling hills. There is also a 360 deg. view of the northern Batan Island at the nearby Tukon Radar Station.
Dito sa Tukon chapel nagsimula ang saya. Matapos nito ay isang napakahabang downhill ride paakyat at pababa ng rolling hills papunta sa may paanan ng Mt. Iraya kung saan matatagpuan ang Valugan boulder beach kaharap ang Pacific. Matapos nito ay isa na namang downhill ride pa-kanluran pabalik ng Basco town proper at papuntang Vayang Ranch rolling hills na kaharap ang West Philippine Sea.

Walking along Abad Street - Batanes Center for Trade
If you are visiting Batanes, you will not see tall buildings, malls or even fastfood chains. Abad street in Basco, Batanes is the go to place of locals for anything they need. It's a small street with shops selling various products. You will find here food, toys, clothes, household items etc. There's even a hardware and a shop selling appliances.
If you are a city dweller and is looking for a truly relaxing surroundings away from the city noise, Batanes is the best place to visit in the Philippines.

Batanes Vlog (Episode 5 - Final): WE HIKED FOR 10 HOURS
We were supposed to go on an ATV tour around Batanes on our fifth and final day. Unfortunately, the ATV's were under maintenance so we had to change our plans and say yes to hiking up Mt. Iraya. :)

フィリピンの最北端、台湾付近に位置する「バタネス島」
一年を通して風が強いこの地のドローンによる空撮は、困難を極めますが、まるでヨーロッパを連想させる趣のある地形と雰囲気。
バタネスでの撮影後、マニラを経由して一路レガスピ市、アルバイ地区へ。
マヨン火山はシンメトリーな美しい山ですが、ここでも強風に苦しみ、なかなか思ったような映像が撮れませんでした。
Batanes Island, located near Taiwan, the northernmost tip of the Philippines
Although drone aerial photography of this windy place throughout the year is extremely difficult, it has a quaint terrain and atmosphere reminiscent of Europe.
After taking a picture at Batanes, go to Manila via the Manila to Legazpi city and Albay district.
Mayon volcano is a symmetric and beautiful mountain, but again, it suffered from strong winds and I couldn't get the picture I wanted.
