Bromfield Swamp - Malanda QLD Australia - Phantom 4 Drone Video
Bromfield Swamp lays in a shallow crater of an extinct volcano and forms part of the headwaters of the North Johnstone River.
Bromfield Swamp is home to a population of Sarus Cranes, elegant long-legged waterbirds that look like a large heron. These cranes used to be found from Australia to Northern India but have now become almost extinct in Asia. Australia has one of the last breeding populations in the world, with an estimated 5,000 to 10,000 birds, of which three thousand live on the Atherton Tableland.

The Base of Millstream Falls - Queensland Hiking
A walk to Millstream and Little Millstream Falls near Ravenshoe, North Queensland from back in December 2015. The falls are both on the same river and not too far away from each other, but require a short drive between them. The area was experiencing a drought while we were there, so the water flow was not nearly as high as it would typically be.
Tablelands -the Crater-
The Crater is not a verical Cylinder but a submerged passage. It turns under the lookout, 80m below the water level.
The water's surface is coveres with a thick layer of duckweed. Underneath live perch-like fish and small crusaceans.
Deep silt and tree litter cover the cave floor. Further exploation may reveal the crater's extent and facets of a unique habitat.
