Day 29 - Mount Norquay - Banff National Park (4K)
CANADA Bound - Day 29 takes us up to Mount Norquay, the popular ski resort just outside of Banff. Yoly and I get our first look at Banff from above, see some skiing skateboarders and get up close and personal with a big horn sheep. We grab a smoked salmon sandwich at the resort at the base of the ski lift. We were going to take the ski lift up but they cost twice what the Banff Tram ride costs and we had reservations for that tomorrow.
Tubing at Mount Norquay - Ski Banff-Lake Louise-Sunshine
Mt. Norquay offers fun for the whole family with their tubing park, the first in Banff National Park. Ski Big 3 Tri-Area ticket access includes the tubing park. For more info, visit

Banff National Park is one of Canada’s most treasured gems. You can experience the pristine beauty of this region from a chairlift on one of Banff’s three ski resorts: Lake Louise, Mt. Norquay and Sunshine Village. Norquay: Banff, Alberta. View from the Chairlift
just a short clip and description from the chairlift descending Mt Norquay above Banff. This was much more pleasant, easy and quiet than the crowded Sulphur Mountain option. Highly recommended folks. Sorry about the focus going in and out.
