JAPAN | Hiking Nara's Mt. Wakakusa
Nara is seriously the location everyone is sleeping on in Japan. This was probably my favorite day in Japan…beautiful sunsets, wild deer, and a dessert picnic with a gorgeous guy…what more could a girl ask for?

Hi everyone! This is a Japan vlog 2018 where I took a day trip to Nara from Osaka to see the Japanese deer! In nara park, I witnessed a lot of deer bowing which was really adorable. They're also really feisty so make sure to be careful as they're really clever. This is definitely a must do in Japan!

Hiking in Nara - Letters from Japan
We had one last chance to get out and do something as a family before the summer break ended, before we got too busy again, so we decided to drive out to Nara. We skipped all the temples and shrines and hiked up Wakakusa mountain - it was just a bit cooler up there, but the sun was still bright, lots of deer.
We're really looking forward to fall, though -- cooler weather, New students, different things to look forward to. It feels like it’s just around the corner, but the days are still warm.

Nara | Japan’s mountain burning festival 若草山焼き
At the beginning of every year the ancient city of Nara, Japan quells the spirits residing inside of Wakakusa mountain. This is one of the most unique festivals in Japan and the area is full of friendly deer.

There were many friendly wild deers there.
I think that the most beautiful time in this place is evening twilight time, but on that day there were many clouds and no sunset.
However, my heart was healed by deers and the view from the top.
I hope you relax with my original video and music.
Please enjoy.
It was first time to take videos on iPhone11, and it worked very well : )
I still like SLR cameras more than iPhone11, but I was surprised at iPhone's good performance.
This time I also made music on iPhone11.
It was very handy and easy to use, so I like it!

Nara (Japan) Vacation Travel Video Guide
Travel video about destination Nara in Japan.
Nara is known as the Cradle Of Japan and was the country’s first imperial capital city until the end of the eighth century when the emperor and his State moved to Kyoto. It contains some of the country’s oldest temples, such as the Kohfukuji that was built in 669 A.D. Nara Park surrounds many sacred sites and, measuring five hundred and twenty-five hectares, is the largest of its kind in Japan. Nara is the birthplace of Japanese art and literature. Newly-imported Buddhism was sponsored by those who ruled, and extended throughout Japan. Thus, the original religion of ancient Japan, Shinto, was confined to local sanctuaries such as that of the Himuro Shrine which conserves this ancient belief. The extensive terrain is adorned by well laid-out gardens. It is the tranquility and peaceful charisma of nature which indicates that the priests of the nearby Kofukuji Temple once resided here. It was ideal for both meditation and contemplation and even today's tourism appears to be much calmer here. Wakakusa Yama Hill borders the park and is inhabited by several sika deer. From the hill, hundreds of stone lanterns accompany the path to the Kasuga-Taisha Shrine. Nara is a combination of village, park and showcase and offers a glance back to a time when Japanese Buddhism was in its infancy. Today, this place is a romantic and transformed dream destination.

Mountain in Japan ,ODAIGA HARA MOUNTAIN NARA
Ōdaigahara-san or Ōdaigahara-yama (大台ヶ原山), also Hinode-ga-take or Hide-ga-take (日出ヶ岳) is a mountain in the Daikō Mountain Range and on the border between the prefectures of Mie and Nara, Japan. The mountain is the highest in Mie at 1695 metres. Walking trails from the Nara side start from a car park at about 1400 metres. The mountain is famous for wild deer, and also for wild birds, especially Wren and Japanese Robin, as well as Treecreepers and Woodpeckers. In 1980 an area of 36,000 hectares in the region of Mount Ōdaigahara and Mount Ōmine was designated a UNESCO Man and the Biosphere Reserve.[1]

Japan Vlog #009 - Discover Nara & Mt Yoshino
Nara
Place I visit in Nara:
1. Mount Wakakusayama (若草山)
2. Nara Park
3. Todaiji Temple
Eat in Nara:
1. Sakura Burger
2. Nakatanidou
Mount Yoshino - Famous for cherry blossom viewing (view cherry blossom over the mountain), autumn also not bad
We visit Mt Yoshino on 12 Apr 2018. Bought the earliest train ticket from Osaka Abenobashi station to Mount Yoshino Station. As the cherry blossom season is over, the crowd is not much. But if you visit during cherry blossom season, would recommended to book seated train ticket in advance as the journey took about 1 hr 15 mins, and it will be super crowded. After arriving Mt Yoshino Station, we took bus to Naka Senbon, then took another to Oku Senbon. After that just walk down to lower level.
Highly recommend to visit temple - very calm & traditional Japanese shrine

The Must-Visit Nara Park【 Nara, Japan 】
Nara Park (奈良公園 Nara Kōen) is a public park located in the city of Nara, Japan, at the foot of Mount Wakakusa. Established in 1880 it is one of the oldest parks in Japan. Administratively, the park is under the control of Nara Prefecture. The park is one of the Places of Scenic Beauty designated by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT). Over 1,200 wild sika deer (シカ or 鹿 shika) freely roaming around in the park are also under designation of MEXT, classified as natural treasure. While the official size of the park is about 502 hectares (1,240 acres), the area including the grounds of Tōdai-ji, Kōfuku-ji, and Kasuga Shrine, which are either on the edge or surrounded by Nara Park, is as large as 660 hectares (1,600 acres).
