This is the Mount Tenguyama or also known as Mt Tengu in Otaru Hokkaido. You can go up to the mountain using the Mt Tengu Ropeway. You can get the best view of Otaru on top of Mount Tenguyama.
Otaru is only less than one hour train ride from Sapporo. Otaru is popular for the Otaru Canal but this is one of the must visits in our opinion. We enjoyed the view and the landscape on Mount Tenguyama. If you plan to visit Hokkaido, Mount Tenguyama must be part of your itinerary.

Famous Otaru Canal and Tenguyama with city view 小樽運河和天狗山山頂景色
I always see the Otaru Canal on the picture, and finally I get to see it by myself. We went up the Mt Tengu (Tenguyama). Its well known view the whole city of Otaru. We didn't stay till dawn because there were too many visitors.
