Birth of Muddy, How the Dunnville Mudcat was built
When the town of Dunnville, Ontario decided they wanted a giant mudcat statue, they came to Mike Walker to build it. This is how Muddy was created. Ontarios newest tourist attraction Muddy the Mudcat Statue is located in Dunnville, Ontario Canada. The mudcat has long been associated with the town especially through its sports teams and proximity to prime fishing. A three-year effort to bring the towns mascot to fruition in bigger-than-life form has been realized. Muddy, the giant mudcat, is 50- foot long, 27-foot high statue's permanent home at Centennial Park at the western entrance to Dunnville. Visit to see more about the project.
