Mufu palace or mu family mansion, is short for palazzo della famiglia mu. Located on the foot of lion mountain, mufu palace is the grand garden of Lijiang ancient town.
Mufu palace is the most recommendation attraction in Lijiang. The top ruler of naxi minority Mu family had been in Lijiang since Yuan Dynasty to Qing Dynasty, Totally 470 years with 22 generation rulers.

????It takes about three hours to reach Lijiang by train from Kunming, capital of Yunnan Province.
????Lijiang Old Town, also known as Dayan Town, is located in Lijiang City, Yunnan Province, southwestern China. It is located in the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau. The annual average temperature ranges from 12.6 to 19.9 degrees C.
????The Old Town of Lijiang was built at the end of Song Dynasty and the beginning of Yuan Dynasty (late 13th century). The streets in the Old Town of Lijiang were built by mountains and rivers. There are Sifang Street, Mufu, Wenchang Palace, Dashiqiao, Dashui Waterwheel, Xianwen Lane and other scenic spots. Lijiang is one of the two ancient cities in China which have successfully declared the world cultural heritage with the whole ancient city.The Old Town of Lijiang has a variety of local ethnic customs and entertainment activities. Naxi ancient music, Dongba ceremony, divination culture, Old Town bars and Naxi Torch Festival are unique.
