Saint Gevork Monastery of Mughni Armenia
This is a Saint Gevork Monastery
Known as Saint George's Monastery of Mughni
It's locating in the village of Mughni near Ashtarak in the Aragatsotn Province of Armenia.
It was built to house some of the remains of Saint George who was known as the Slayer of Dragons

SAGHMOSAVANK or the Church of Psalms - definitely one of Armenia's most scenic churches, constructed at the edge of a very deep gorge!
ARMENIAN ALPHABET PARK - to shows how important the Armenian Alphabet is to the history and culture of Armenia and its People, they have built a park to showcase all 39 letters of the Alphabet, all sculpted in heavy solid rock!

Young Activist: Workshop in Ashtarak, Aragatsotn region of Armenia
ОписаниеAdrien Beauduin from People in Need adress to the participants of the Workshop on Civic Activism in Ashtarak, Armenia.
On 27 May 2017 “Free Citizen” CISC organised the workshop for the local youth in the framework of the Project in the city of Ashtarak, Aragatsotn region of Armenia. This is first from the 12 workshops, which are planned to organise in Armenia in the framework of the Project “Young Activist”. The workshops are dedicated to raising awareness among participants on the European Union, Council of Europe, Eastern Partnership, Visegrad 4 format, as well as providing general information about campaigning, including social media, public speaking and debating and other relevant topics.
25 young civic activists from all over Aragatsotn region participated in the workshop. Also the representative from the partner organization People in Need (Czech Republic) Adrian Sergio C Beaduin took part of the Workshop as an invited observer.
During the workshop it was also discussed the following issues, which have been identified by the participants as more relevant for the Youth of their region:
• Absence of Youth centers, absence or poor state of the houses of culture and libraries;
• Unemployment;
• The problem of water supply in some villages;
• The problem of effective professional career orientation for university and college applicants- based on market needs;
• The problem of the quality of roads and accessibility to public transport.

Իտալիայից ժամանած մասնագետները՝ վերականգնող ճարտարապետ Արա Զարյանն ու որմանկարների վերականգնման մասնագետ Քրիստին Լամուղեն ավարտեցին Աշտարակի Կարմրավոր Ս. Աստվածածին եկեղեցում պահպանված որմնանկարների մաքրման ու ամրակայման աշխատանքները: Այժմ տեսանելի է 10 սրբապատկեր:

Hovhannavank (Armenian: Հովհաննավանք) is a medieval monastery located in the village of Ohanavan in the Aragatsotn Province of Armenia. The monastery stands on the edge of the Kasagh River canyon, and its territory is adjacent to the village of Ohanavan. The deep gorge is carved by the Kasagh River.
Restoration of the Lmbatavank Monastery Murals
Mr. Ara Zaryan, a renowned Armenian architect; and Belgian Ms. Christine Lamughe; have been travelling from to Armenia for six years. They restore frescoes and murals of ancient churches in Armenia. Following the restoration of murals of the Karmravor church in Ashtarak, they have started restoration of the Lmbatavankh Monastery murals.

Արդեն վեց տարի Իտալիայից Հայաստան են գալիս հայազգի անվանի ճարտարապետ Արա Զարյանը և բելգիուհի Քրիստին Լամուղը: Մեր երկրում վերականգնում են հնամենի եկեղեցիների որմնանկարները: Աշտարակի Կարմրավոր եկեղեցու պատերը մաքրելուց և որմնանկարները վերականգնելուց հետո տեղափոխվել են Արթիկում գտնվող Լմբատավանք:
Murals of the Mughni St. Gevorg Church
The murals of the St. Gevorg Church of Mughni are currently under restoration. Head of the restoration team is Mr. Arjanik Hovhannisyan.

Spitakavor Church located at the edge of a gorge in the town of Ashtarak, Armenia. Spitakavor meaning is white-colored church, It is a 13th Century Armenian Apostolic church.
