Visiting the Gloup & Mull Head Reserve, Orkney Islands
Stunning scenery as we walked around Mull Head nature reserve and the Gloup on a beautiful sunny day in May. Deerness, Orkney Islands, Scotland.
Brough of Deerness and Mull Head, Orkney
Ancient chapel and remains of settlement on the Brough of Deerness, East Mainland, Orkney. Spectacular sea-pink studded cliffs along the windswept coast to Mull Head supports many birds. Footage of Fulmars, Black Guillemots, Cormorants, Eider duck with young, set against precipitous cliffs and vibrant sea.
Fulmar Close-ups
A few Fulmars found at The Gloup, a collapsed sea-cave at Mull Head Nature Reserve, on Deerness, Mainland Orkney. I liked the fact that they weren't at all bothered by my presence!
