CYCLING | The Munda Biddi Trail | Manjimup to Ferguson Valley, Western Australia
The Munda Biddi Trail is a long-distance mostly off-road cycling trail in Western Australia. It runs for over 1,000 kilometres (620 mi) from Mundaring to Albany, Western Australia – the longest track of its kind in the world.
The name Munda Biddi means path through the forest in the Noongar Aboriginal language, and it runs largely through an undeveloped natural corridor. The track traverses vast areas of unspoiled forests and bushland with mostly gentle terrain. While the track is open year-round, riding conditions are better during spring and autumn, and potentially hazardous from December to March because of the often extreme heat and fire danger at that time of year. As of May 2017, the record for completing the Munda Biddi Trail is four days, six hours and 39 minutes.
Sections of the trail vary in terms of their difficulty and terrain type but it has stages suitable for everyone’s cycling ability and pace. The trail is easily accessible by car, and riders can begin their journey from multiple locations. There are free campsites at various points along the trail, some with more than a day’s ride between them. Detailed maps of the trail are recommended for those using the trail and can be purchased from a number of places, including the Munda Biddi Trail Foundation website -

Perth Enduro Trails
The #stirlingmudders are at Perth Enduro Trails. The trails were a bit wet and roots slidey, but they are great to ride and fun.
We've got Fun, fails and falls! But everyone was okay to tell the tale.
Plus, this was my first time in clips. I only fell off twice because I couldn't unclip! lol.
You'll see me tree hugging later. I thought it would be a good idea to unclip before I went down..... BIG mistake!! :)
Munda Biddi - Mundaring to Carinyah
Just a quick vid of our (hellish) ride to Carinyah. We got lost heaps and did a lot more KMs than we planned. I now know why section one is called the baptism of fire we plan to finish from where we left off as a broken pedal put an end to our adventure just before the first campsite.

Introducing the beauty of the world through the perspective of a cyclist....(maybe)
(折り畳み自転車やミニベロツーリング - 小径車の旅)
Part of my trip by bike around Australia in January, 2014.
When I arrived at Western Australia, I didn't know the existence of this trail until I visited the tourist information center in Parth. It was just happened. As soon as I saw the pamphlet, I thought this could be my way... but soon, I realized it was one of the toughest bicycle trails which I rode bike with a small wheel bike...
Beyond the difficulties, I eventually enjoyed this trail and was happy to take this trail at the end.

DENMARK WESTERN AUSTRALIA | A Short film featuring Greens Pool, Lights Beach, and other sights
Denmark is a small friendly town located in the Great Southern region in the state of Western Australia. Denmark, Western Australia, in addition to its abundance of natural beauty (think rugged coastline, white sandy beaches, tall trees) is also home to award winning wineries, artists of all kinds, and many popular festivals.
This short film showcases only a small part of what Denmark has to offer, let alone the rest of the Great Southern region.
Locations in this film (with timestamps and map links):

Just a few kilometres from Denmark town, Ocean Beach is popular for surfing, swimming, and sandcastles.

Mount Lindesay
Mt Lindesay is a 23km drive from Denmark town along scenic sealed and unsealed roads. Mt Lindesay itself sits 385 metres above sea level and the summit is reached by a 10km return walk and is classed as moderately difficult with some steep sections. You should allow approximately 3-4 hours for the return walk and make sure you follow all safe bushwalking practices such as taking plenty of drinking water, sun protection, tell people where you're going and what time you expect to be back, walk in a least a group of three people, etc. ( read more about safety here: )

Lights Beach
A few kiliometres from Denmark town, Lights Beach is actually several beaches. The sealed roads from Denmark end in a carpark with a lookout and there is also a paved path leading to some wooden steps to get down to the longer stretch of beach which is also an authorized dog walking area. Both the Bibbulmun Track (walking trail) and the Munda Biddi Trail (off-road cycling trail) are accessible from Lights Beach.

Elephant Rocks and Greens Pool
Approximately 18km from Denmark along sealed roads is William Bay National Park that among other attractions features Elephant Rocks and Greens Pool. Greens Pool is famous for calm turquoise and green water and white sandy beach and is a popular spot for swimming, snorkeling, and simply relaxing. Elephant Rocks is named after the giant granite boulders that some say resemble a herd of elephants walking out to sea. Also popular for swimming and snorkeling, there can be strong currents that run through the cove so care should be taken.

Great Southern Ocean Safety
You should take care when visiting the Great Southern coast, unexpected large waves and strong currents can be dangerous. Be careful when walking next to the ocean, fishing off rocks, etc as people have died on this stretch of coastline. You should always obey the official signage at each location and ask at one of the local visitor centres about safety before heading out.
