Swimming In North Korea (with my GoPro)
Swimming in Munsu Water Park, Pyongyang, North Korea. I was the only foreigner there that day. I attracted a couple of curious looks but after a few minutes, I blended into the crowd. The temperature was 17°C outside but the indoor pool was nice and warm. However they did have one small pool that was a cold water pool. I spent over 3 hours there.

North Korea VS. South Korea (They're Totally Different!)
In 1945, Korea was divided into South Korea and North Korea. Despite the fact that communist North Korea and democratic South Korea are neighbors, the life in these 2 countries is totally different.
Photographer Ed Jones decided to capture it and show to the rest of the world. In the photos you can see that clothes, interiors, and environments are more modern in South Korea. But the soul of these people is definitely the same.

Munsu water park, Pyongyang
This is one of the newest attractions in North Korea - it was completed in October 2013 - and a favorite site to take visiting reporters. It seemed very organized (people seemed to be in groups) and there were very few children, although it was a Friday morning. The people who were there did seem to be enjoying themselves a lot. (Few North Koreans can swim - they don't get the chance to learn - so there was a lot of sitting or lying about)

The renovated Kaeson Youth Park in Pyongyang opened in spring 2010. It features new (italy-made) rollercoasters, auto-scooter and a freefall-tower and is open daily from 7pm to midnight (according to our guide).
As you can see, there were a lot of people, but we did not have to wait in the queues.
