Die Gemeinde St. Moritz liegt auf einer Höhe von 1.822 m über dem Meeresspiegel im Schweizer Kanton Graubünden und setzt sich aus den Ortsteilen Moritz-Dorf, Suvretta und der Hälfte von Champfèr zusammen. St. Moritz-Dorf liegt am Nordufer des St. Moritzersees. Gesamt hat der Ort mit seinen Ortsteilen 5.067 Einwohner auf einer Fläche von 28,69 km2. Die Bevölkerungsdichte beträgt 177 Einwohner pro km2. St. Moritz, dessen Name vom Heiligen Mauritius stammt, zählt zu den berühmtesten Ferienorten der Welt.
